I set to no preference and I’m in a match in 20 secs tops. Every time. Since Patch 1.05

I’m in Texas and consistently get games within a minute by choosing no preference. I’ve seen reports from people I consider trustworthy on the East Coast waiting four to 5 minutes for matches regardless of what they choose. It seems like the wait times might have something to do with network location. I also have gigabit internet from Google Fiber, it’d be nice if people could state what sort of internet service they have when talking about this issue, so that we can see if there’s a pattern.

I have basic Spectrum. LA area. Burbank, CA
I never have to wait on a match. If you do it’s not the damn game! I pick no preference every time.

If you are only wanting to play as the Predator, then the wait times are on YOU! Not the Developers!

Only the solo fireteam matchmaking time was fixed. If you’re in a party or play as the predator it takes like 5 minutes.

Brother, do you understand that there is only ONE Predator and every person wants to play as the Predator? So, there is no ‘fix’…choose no preference and just enjoy the game.

Yeah not for me day or night it takes at least 5 whole mins as a predator that’s to long when it’s easy to put ransoms together n needing only one pred

It’s not broken… 1 Predator vs 4 Fireteam slots. Kinda common sense why the wait times are much longer for the Predator.

It isn’t hard. People are playing. There are no issues. Stop trying to force yourself into the Predator role and your perception of a problem is gone.

There are definitely issues. People need to quit acting like they speak for everyone. I just got stuck in 2 fireteam lobbies that didn’t even find a Predator. This matchmaking is pathetic.

I think we can agree the poor preference system is just fucking up the matchmaking, the preference system should be like evolve where you’re all in a 5 person lobby, and whoever prefers the monster gets a chance of being the monster depending on how many people in that lobby are preferring to be the monster or in this case the child predator. Plus it doesn’t help that everyone wants to be the predator, it’s gotten to the point where I see the same fireteam members over and over again, so I’m just convinced that there’s a small portion that actually play as the fireteam

Matchmaking is a little bit better.
Right now, I’m close to leaving this game untill they either Nerf the Fireteam or Buff The Predator’s Health…All of Them!!!
