not sure if they ever addressed the problem. They were pretty happy with letting their Fiends be weak n worthless… 🤷🏻♂️😅

You sound like a toxic fire team spammer the way you ignore the facts in front of you, but here are the true issues with the fire time balancing. Melee spamming is number one. A single marine should not be able to massively damage and stun a predator with a knife… I have teams literally try and hunt me down with a knife, the only counter I found is literally having to hit them with a net gun then attack them. And I can only do that to the last guy because his team will just unload on you at that point. Predator scans are bugged and don’t pickup fireteams when they should. And some pc players are using aim bots already as if they already aren’t at an advantage enough. If you spot a predator, and he goes behind cover, you can still see his outline behind the cover for some time after being spotted. And skill is not the problem, when faced with all of these things, no predator can beat certain teams that know how to abuse the exploits. It’s just not possible sometimes.
