So as I’ve been doing these, I’ve come to realize a better way to go about things. Kind of, work your way backwards. Go to the places you’ll need to go to later and turn off the alarms so the pred can’t activate them. Destroy things you’ll need to later first. It’ll confuse the pred, and allow speedier mission progress once you start. Especially the big things, as once they are on fire, they will destroy themselves. Also with the Wait and Watch objectives, you can send out a scout to turn it on, then quickly come back to the AI-less base with the rest of the squad to defend the pred. Oh, and now I’m further against the FT having traps, because I know where all the Kill targets spawn, and that becomes unfair.
Excavation:
Complete Cut Off; Kill the stargazer tech team, Steal some hard drives, Destroy everything. A
Compromise of Safety; Kill the captain, Find his safe, Destroy the files inside. D
Discovery; Infiltrate the dig camp, Find the predator body, Destroy the predator body. AB
Hide And Seek; Kill the drug lord, Find his secret stash, Steal all intel in his stash. C
Jump Drive; Sync satcom stations, Find the hidden crate, Retrieve tech. A
Shifty Business; Find the outgoing crates, Steal the gold, Replace fake tracker bar and reseal crate. CD
Sky Torch; Find satcom, Sync satcom with satellite, Initiate satellite firing system. D
The Ancients; Find excavation notes, Find hidden statue door, Retrieve artifacts. C
The Burning Notice; Infiltrate the dig camp, Secure drug recipes, Burn the drugs. C
The Cache; Move to location with predator tech, retrieve all pieces of tech, Crate up and ship tech via airlift. A
Total Interference; Move to location with strange readings, Investigate interference, Disable source or interference. A
Unauthorized Transport; Find the shipment of weapons, Take pictures of the weapons, Destroy the arsenal. A
It seems these are mostly rehashed missions. I’m full of disappointment. The new ones are really interesting, but you can easily see when the dialogue, props, objectives, order, and descriptions are cut and paste for the others. Oh, and the original post has been updated.
