So after re watching Predators tonight, My question is still why on Mr Black?

Here is why out of all three he is the worst. He kill two ppl entire movie. And a exhausted half dead pred. He is clearly dumb asf since he fell for a obvious trap and then lost a 1v1 after being shot once. So again why?

Nah, I never understood this argument.

They only respect anything for itā€™s fighting skill and prowess. Itā€™s not like the fugitive gives a shit about humanity really, I took as more of ā€œalright, well my people are cheating now which isnā€™t very sporting, hereā€™s something so you can put up a fight.ā€ That doesnā€™t mean he minds killing a few scientists who had the gall to experiment on him like a lab rat. Heā€™s a bit better portrayed in the book, where you see his PoV and how he enjoys killing the humans but heā€™s also still trying to get the tech to them. Maybe they could have explained it better on film, but I canā€™t see how you convey that through the script without it being clunky.

Would you prefer him to have a sit down with McKenna and explain why heā€™s doing everything heā€™s doing?

I agree. People said the same of Wolf in AVPR. He came to ā€œclean upā€ a mess in secret, and then killed the deputy for no apparent reason.
At the end of the day, killing humans is one of the things they do.

The way they conveyed it through the film was still awful because based on the movie itself not any outside medium that could fill in the gaps the fugitives plan would not have made any sense. Letā€™s say he did get humanity the tech what would that ultimately accomplish when the main reason humanity wouldā€™ve gotten wiped out was due to climate change.

I mean it sounds better than what actually happened, the fugitive never once gave any indication to the humans that he came bearing gifts to help them out at all he just slaughtered everyone but the protagonist for obvious reasons. His entire mission was theorized by stargazer and the autistic boy (who also didnā€™t make any sense).

Thatā€™s fine if thatā€™s what you took it as still sounds better than what we got also he never wouldā€™ve been captured if he you know actually gave an indication to any of the soldiers of his intent instead of butchering them.

Youā€™re right on that just look at what Shane Black did to the franchise with just one movie. Jokes aside thatā€™s just an assumption on your part, speaking on the movie how would you react to an alien coming up to you giving you a warning/ I come in peace versus seeing an alien and it immediately killing your buddies In front of you. Iā€™m just saying in this case the fugitive did the raping.

But remember, what we got was littered with parts from the original script/shoots. At one point there were supposed to be two Predators wearing camo pants, riding in tanks, fighting alongside humansā€¦

ā€¦it was a car crash from the beginning. They did extensive reshoots to try and make it more of a Predator movie, which is why we have this retarded final script that makes no God damn sense on any level.

The new movie will retcon almost all of it thankfully, maybe keep Stargazer as they make a good antagonist agency. This game gives nods to it with Stargazer and Keyes, but itā€™s kinda left there. We will have to see what Rodriguez can do, but if Predators is anything to go by it will be amazing and true to what we usually expect from the Predator.

I say keep what little bits of good there were from that trash heap and retcon the rest. As much as I dislike seeing the same thing over again with a different coat of paint in preference to something original at this point Iā€™d rather just have a modern reskin of Predator (1987) from this franchise at least then Iā€™d be entertained.
