well id probably just play private games more. but thats what would happen becuas a game should be fun and how you want to play not forced to do what you dont find fun. imagine a car game that forced you choice of car or track. or a fighting game that forced character selection…

my games are like 5-20 mins queue time. i realise that i will be waiting because its popular.
if i get fed up of that i just play fireteam. I think its worth the wait to play what i like and enjoy. why play if you ur not enjoying it is all i think. If you dont enjoy fireteam then queue for pred or get some mates/add people and play some private games.

just what i think though.

Like I said, I tend to agree but I was trying to say I think ignoring the amount of complaints about it is dangerous to the community as well.

I don’t think it’s forcing people to play the game in a way they don’t want. It’s unreasonable to buy a game that’s advertised as four humans vs one predator and act like you have the right to just play the side that is a team of one. It’s not logical to compare a completely different genre. There’s zero detriment to other players picks based on your pick in a fighting game or a racing game whereas Pred only is clearly a detriment to the community.

there are fireteam mains who dont like to play pred. there just needs to be more of them and how do you incentivise that rather than force people to play something… Imagine ur a fireteam main and you hate playing pred… and you get forced to play it randomly etc… youd just be like “nah”. quit match and recue cuz u dont even know how to play it or have any desire too.

I dont think its unreasonable to play pred if thats what you choose. just have to wait or play private if you cant wait.

Someone said a good idea would be to make the fireteam like free-2-play or something like a secondary edition of the game that is really cheap $5.99 or whatever but only allows limited fireteam play. Then youd have tons of free-play fodder.

i just dont like the idea of forcing people to do 1 or the other.

limited fireteam game $5.99 where u cant unlock every class or weapon but can be part of the playerbase. i mean its not going to happen but its a great solution / idea

The vector more than doubles its mag size with extended mags. That’s how it becomes a viable option, otherwise the double action pump shotgun is the best.

Hmmm, the free-2-play idea is solid. More money for the devs for relatively minimal effort.

More on what you said, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with opting out of Predator. Opting out would only help queue times so if some people really don’t want Pred, great. Just make it so you hit Quickplay and then can check a box to play only FT or you can just queue with a chance to get Predator.

Can even supplement that with the idea I’ve seen a bit about making it more likely to get Pred if you statistically have less games as Pred (should measure those stats from when the system’s implemented or it would really shaft people that prior to the update are maining Pred).

OP. The only predator who needs nerf in HP is the berserker one. Its just crazy how much he can take. A competent berserker with a combistick that jumps in and starts hacking its crazy hard to stop unless you run a premade group. All he has to do is wait for the team to split a bit to kill mobs/activate objectives and then jump in. If he has 2 brain cells he is going to drop at least 2 people before you can react. You have a video above.
What I am proposing is nerfing the tankiness of the berserker and give him buffs in some other areas. So he can’t tank fire from multiple people as he is killing. It takes very little skill to pull the tactic and require a lot (A LOT) more from the team to defend agaisnt it. Balancing the game for multiple skill levels is done by ensuring that what tactic the pred needs to pull, is equally (or close) as hard to stop by the team.

Already had extended mag but wasn’t on scout I will try it but not holding my breath.

yeah i know what ya mean, i understand the idea etc. I just dont want it. I dont want to be forced to play fireteam if i dont feel like playing that. thats all.

Maybe they could just skip limiting it in a forced sort of way and just go with letting people have higher priority in the queue if they have less games as Pred so we’d probably wait what we do now and after a while other people who wanted to try Pred would get it a little faster. It would passively encourage Pred players to hit up some FT and it would make it so people that like a mix can have a bit more of a chance to play Pred.

im happy for them to try stuff as long as im not forced. even if they get more queue priority and i have to wait 5more mins cuz someone else hasnt played it yet. im ok with that
