Who/What i am was never the question. if anything my comments “equate” to “i know you are, but do you know you are?”. Right, right, im the one that didnt have logic on my side, lol. As stated in my 2 comment on this thing, i knew the “observant” perk worked, just believe it should be integrated and standardized for at least the “hunter” and “scout” classes. I believe someone above corrected your comments about the movie, watching it didn’t do you any favors.
Mud better than my cloak?
ya im not sure i like this. they are mudded up to begin with so you cant even see them in your thermal and you cant isolate them.
I believe he is not complaining of not being able to see the enemies that are covered in mud, I think he is referring too the fact that the predators cloaking device is not all that well… cloakie lol and that fire team covering up in mud is more invisible to the predator with thermal than the cloaking devise is to the fireteam in which I have to agree as well. As a fireteam member I can see the predator cloaked while standing still in the trees from a good ingame football field away so it really only comes in handy using when wanting to avoid A.I. and that’s it other than that it USELESS so what’s the point. That is one of predators main badass utilities. YES I GET IT AND KNOW that even in the movies it didn’t make the predator completely invisible and could still slightly be seen but it was only when the predator would make really FAST MOVEMENTS AND/OR RUNNING. Fireteam can still see the predator while cloaked and standing completely still from pretty far away.
The ability to cover yourself in mud should be a perk rather than a standard feature the Fireteam can just preform, there needs to be a level of balance. Having the Fireteam mud up at the beginning of the match literally makes no sense because they have no idea what they are up against. They should have to find a piece of intel the the gorillas have collected that says they need to hide their heat signatures.
I purposely don’t mud up every game as the Fireteam so that the predator can find us otherwise 8/10 (literally) the predator won’t find you and it’s a cheap way to play and not as fun. The argument that “there’s perks to see footprints” are easy to say when you’ve unlocked the perks but that perk in particular is locked until level 50, whereas the perk to mud up faster is locked till level 15-20ish, maybe earlier and the ability to mud up entirely is unlocked from the beginning. Changes need to be made, it’s dead easy to spot the predator in the trees even from a far so there needs to be changes made to the cloak too like from a set distance the predator is completely invisible because he can’t do damage from far away so it wouldn’t be an advantage but it would add more stealth to the game which is also an area that needs more love. I mean it’s a predator game.
I never use thermals got my mask knocked off and still one with no plasma caster. The disk one me the game.
