Most of the people I play with literally bought the game to hunt and kill the predator… not run away from it like in a survival game.

Face it, we’ll never get this game balanced for everyone, especially not for Top Tier guys like Arrow. :)
You live in this tiny bubble of a few dozens of hardcore fans that eat noobs for breakfast, play for several hours daily, and know every tiny bug, glitch or trick.
How do you expect to receive the same balanced game experience for such players while not sacrificing it for the casuals who are the bigger population and more important: the cash cow that keeps this game alive? It is simply not possible!

Well, considering the game after only 5 months is super dead, they haven’t done a great job 🤷♂️
again, game isn’t dead because of balance. game is dead because of negative reviews, poor performance, lack of content and a myriad of bugs and crashes, eventually people just got tired of it.
balance has never been a big issue for players who abandoned it.

If it would be dead then there would be no new players at all, which is not the case.
Most of them just don’t stick around long enough to become good players, due to several reasons we all know.

Looking at the forum since day one I saw many more complains about balance and game breaking things for Predator compared to lack of content ecc ecc

Fireteam queue is 1 minute or 2 sometimes, for both ps4 and pc. Twitch viewers down from like 100 to 2/3. You get placed in lobby with no Predator (of course less people want to play pred cause it’s garbage). Clash 5 mins queue because it’s already dead after 1 month. Forum with less people writing daily. This game man is dead, it has maybe the 10% of the active players that were playing at first month.

Of course I have nerver read that the game is ok if not for fireteam one trick players. The devs should listen to people that play at least 50% pred and 50% fireteam. If you play only fireteam or even 90% ft and 10% Pred your opinion lose value because you dont have the real awareness of the situation.

Well said. I very seldom hear anyone talk about the welfare of newbs here. It’s always, ‘fix the game for us’. It’s fair to a point, but if the newbs never get a chance grow and become better players and stick with the game, how will the game’s player base grow.
That being said, i do think it’s near impossible to make everyone happy with the game. Illfonic is trying to cater to the newbs because there are more of them.

Dude in none of that does it say hunt the predator.
It literally calls the ft prey.
Prey does not hunt.
It tells you to complete your mission before the predator finds you.
So you’ve misinterpreted the description, and given how easy predator has pretty much always been to kill, I can see why alot of people think the way you do.
But for what I can only consider actual fans of the predator, why would they want to hunt and kill what they admire?
Seriously on the pred side you’re like, at least at the start and when balance was still kind of here, you’re like, oh wow cool, I’m the predator.
I get all this cool shit, I’m bad ass.
As a human it’s the same fucking boring ass shit, boring ass story that’s always been.
Use guns, shoot things.
Lame as fuck.
It would be different if the game had more depth to it.
Such as matches were longer, gear could be destroyed on both sides,
And the humans could outsmart the predator and win with a trap like dutch did, instead of how easy and cheaply they win now.
But as its always been, ft is just a generic fps.

I still think a separate queue for 4 man teams vs high W/L predators (last 5-10 games) would help with FT noobs not getting destroyed and pre mades feel more challenged without resorting to private matches.

game is never gonna be balanced for your skill set man, let it go. you are a rare breed and it doesn’t matter how much they balance it, you will always win easily whatever side you pick

premades already spot preds as soon as they hear them. Steath is useless.
I partially agree with that. I’m glad that there is an option to hunt Pred and even though camping roofs or buildings is not liked, at least it gives a different look at thing, a new challenge. We had one mode for 5 month and it’s good that people are imaginative and found other ways to play. Same on Pred side, if players want to melee all the time or spam whatever it just adds some variety and I appreciate that. We basically did illfonic a favor and found ways to play the game and keep it interesting.
Gauntlet is sorely needed, assuming that it will be a Pred co-op similar to Hunt. I read a few fine ideas on how it could be played so i hope illfonic either uses some of them or has a few of their own. Hopefully we get it for xmas.
Yeah we need Gauntlet Mode ASAP. That sounds so fun. And the melee crashing bug. thanks gotta be fixed too, maybe they already did. havent had a problem in a few days but still using elder sword just to be safe.
