Potato will Always remain potato even with million buffs. There is no chance they could make this game balanced for low level players because people that play for searching veritanium will always die like a retarded. They cant keep buffing fireteam base don people that dont really put effort in their gameplay. They have to make the game fair and implement a tutorial for fireteam. In this game the tutorial IS ONLY FOR THE PREDATOR! How the fuck do you think that the game will be balanced if you donât teach to fireteam anything?

While itâs hard for me to generalize motivations of potato FTs, getting VER and then customizing the look of your character is a thing in this game. That being said, it doesnât mean that they will always play like that.
Buffing FT so much may still not result in a win for potato FT, but they will live longer and will do meaningful damage to the Pred, which will make the game more enjoyable for them. Average Pred will not destroy them in 3 mins and sometimes theyâll be able to extract successfully. Overall itâs bad that cause they are not motivated to learn, but i can see how illfonic thinks that this tactic will keep the potatoe FTs coming back. Win or lose, it feels like they have a chance again average to slightly above average preds.
This is a game for casuals and i wish illfonic would admit it. Cause we keep thinking they are messing up with fixing the balance, while they know exactly what they are doing. Itâs intentional
Definitely need longer more interesting missions with some real time outcome variability based on results
What you say is true but Iâm not for buffs to Fireteam. I use to have a small team now itâs large. Most consisting of people that are veterans and the others are learning. People that I have met in random matches I may add. Youâre talking about brain dead morons. Iâm taking about people that wanna learn. There is a big difference.

Maybe I donât knowâŚask others, but the community is too big headed and proud to except âtrashâ I guess. Not everyone is naturally skilled. I have taught many people. Because instead of uploading videos of me shitting on the FT I will instead livestream weapons tests, teach about predator classes, strategies to implement as predator and show valid Fireteam strategies. Problem is no one cares to help someone that asks. THATS WHY THE MAJORITY OF FTs ARE SHIT!! I know this because I play solos a lot!!! Also the predator has a tutorial but a predator can still be a bot on both PC and P4 so please explain that logicâŚThey even get damn tips in the load screens. If you expect an A.I to teach thatâs laughable.

It is very hard for everyone to find any information about how the mechanics work, what loadouts are best, tactics, tricks, etc.
Information like this is scattered around the internet.
How can we expect the players to get better if nobody helps them?
We need something like a knowledge base website for stuff like that, but that would require that many good players contribute and share their secrets.

An offline mode or a ranked game (based on some kind of damage per game vs time alive⌠or something⌠yâall name it) for - not so skillful players- to get good or a better experience when playing, is something Iâve suggested since day one. I used to be a potato; now apparently I win a bit more than half my matches (Pred only). But still, waiting a long to kill or be killed in 4 mins is something that frustrates more than one person Iâm sure. Iâm sure Illfonic is trying to balance things out, but they have to, they must consider not all players have the same set of skills. I believe we never needed buffs or nerfing shit, we only need to play with people with similar skills. Some will get good, some wonât, but that doesnât mean potatos shouldnât enjoy the game⌠Just my opinion.
But we canât count on Illfonic to do this, we need to take such matters into our own hands and involve the whole community!
I already posted this Idea on the PC Elite Discord asking for feedback without getting any responses.
Iâd be happy to team up with others to create something like that, since Iâm a Junior UX Designer and already had a complete PHG UI style guide created months ago, which was initially meant for a clan-website of my first group and matches the look of the Game.
But I canât do that alone by myself.

potatoes will still not get it. many players are kids and people who donât even have a computer and âgoogleâ things. Thatâs why they dont know of the forum, discord servers, etc.
You put a website with info, and they still wont find it because they wont look for it.
You need a tutorial IN GAME, that focuses heavily on the use of a comm headset and sound.

Sure, you canât help these guys.
But there are also others asking for loadouts and tips on a daily basis if you carefully read the PHG Facebook group.
And we could collect all of the information that is scattered around in one place, which would be good for everyone.
My first 2 games with ps4 controller. I dont even know the comands. I csnt even aim with that cause I havent used it for a shooter since cod mw3. Still too easy to play fireteam and carry the team even if I cant aim. Just spamming with lmgs hip fire and if you hit 20% of your shot with Bane is deadly. This game is easy even for play station. I dont even know it is possible to be bad at fireteam now a days, you have to troll on purpose.
itâs honestly because the majority of FT players use shotguns they donât even use their ARâs at close range which is where the AR is the most deadly cause they donât know that i canât tell you how many times a day in my games i have to tell FT to swap out their shotgun with literally any other weapon cause shotguns just tickle predators youâd have an easier time killing a predator with a 1011 than you would with a shotgun shotguns are for killing AI not the predator
most PS4 players play with the default sensitivy settings so their turn/aim speed is way too slow to track a predator
that and most FT have no awareness what so ever half the time they canât even track the predators lazer

At this point I dont even know what they are looking as a target for balancing this game. Itâs so easy even when I cant aim. Just camp buildings and shoot hip fire when Pred comes for melee. How in the world people could lose as fireteam now? You must go for veritanium the whole game listening to music instead of the game. Itâs so fucking easy because this game is so fucking unbalanced for the Fireteam side. That damage is insane.
And that is actually one of the main reasons why the Predator gets spotted. They approach the Fireteam in cloaked mode, any Fireteam player with a brain will start looking in the direction the clicking sounds comes from and watch for either the trilaser or leaves that falls from branches.
The cloak is not useless, but the majority of the players are using it the wrong way.

Good preds are still winning 99% of their public matches. They just donât like losing to good ft in privates. So let me ask you this pred mains, do good ft pre-mades not have the right to win 99% of their matches just like you? You want this game to be always in favor of the pred so no matter how good ft pre-mades are you can still wipe your asses with them. I get how some bugs can be frustrating and even ruin the gameplay, but to always complain about ft being op is frustrating as well. When the pred one shot kills a ft with the combi or plasma is their fault or they are weak players, but when the pred gets melted by ft oh no the ft is way too op. The hypocrisy is real in this forum.
