The comics are completely BS. Predator being killed by a bear? Getting caught in swamp mud and being eaten by a cannibal? Or that time that they launched an invasion in New York City and everyone just forgot about it? Or where dutch’s brother has a predator kill count despite not being as good as Dutch, but doing everything easier? I can keep going. Anyone ignoring any of the three movies in favour of comics is out of his mind.

And things being of the same alloy doesn’t mean anything. Stab a knife with another knife. Go on. See what happens. Trying to bring reality to movies to a game is an utter moron.

And yes things being of the same allow means everything. You should’ve stayed in school. Metals have different density’s and different strengths. Cut a tree with a machete and it takes a few swings cut a tree with a kitana and it’s one clean cut. Different metals different strengths.

I’m saying reroll nets back to being destroyable midair by gunfire like they were at launch. Big nerf to the people that just run in and try to land 2-3 nets on people at once which is where the complaints come from because there’s little counterplay to that aside from standing behind the netted guy. It’s lame and pred doesn’t need 13 nets to begin with. How often do you get wall pinned in comparison?

Considering that you can net an entire team and still have plenty of ammo to net them 3 times over, means you can really effectively 1v4 and wipe them in about 5 minutes with just net gun and wrist blade spam.

The only time the net gun doesnt work is when the ft are hugging cover

Katanas are made from really crap metal. Anyone outside of anime knows that they were never really made for combat. Samurai were also trained in bowmanship because that was actually useful. Katanas were mostly ceremonial.
And axe is used to cut down a tree because of its wedged head, hafted shape to put the most force in per swing, and they were easy to make and lasted forever with proper care. Katanas have been known to brake if they hit bone wrong.

The feeling that I get here is netgun should reward good positioning. Not be a tool to just run in and fire at everyone in your line of sight, since thats apparently what the plasma pistol is for this patch.

Not so much a buff as it is small rework to change how its used.

OP wants a flat duration extension which I dont agree with im just trying to reach a compromise here.

Yeah I really wish they listened to my rework for the handheld. It would have been way more balanced.

But as for the netgun. I am okay with it being a more tactical weapon to some extent. But the nets need to be far more effective

Katanas absolutely can cut down a tree. Now, not all katanas were made equal sadly. Some were not folded and strengthened the proper number of times to be a viable and durable weapon. These would have been carried by the lower caste of soldiers. However actual samurai katanas, could be folded well over 1000 times during the forging process to produce a fine blade.

I am an amateur blacksmith as a hobby, and the guy that is teaching me to make blades has been producing fine quality katanas and wakizashi’s for years, and they are durable. It all depends on how many times the steel is folded. The more folds, the more durable and interlocked the alloy becomes.

The fact that I don’t use 13 nets shows I’m not an asshole with one play style lol. If it doesn’t work try something new. Don’t just keep doing the same thing over and over such as using the net gun. That’s why I don’t use 13 nets lol
