There is nothing wrong with this? Trust me mate, if you get recorded pulling this stunt in a normal match, you’ll get some major backlash from the community. Dare I even say get you kicked from various discord channels. Don’t do it, it’s basically cheating.
What shouldn’t have happened was that the programmers at Illfonic didn’t know about mouse-macro’s and didn’t build in a safe-guard to prevent this from happening. I really hope they got wiser and learn that you always gotta build in safe-guards because people will 100% abuse mechanics if they can. Just not all of them, but it will happen.

It’s not just mouse and keyboard macros, it’s not even purely PC based.
The amount of PS4 controllers you can buy that are programmable or have a rapid fire function…

True. No-one should be doing this. I just meant from a technical level (e.g. the design of the input controller) there is no bug. It does exactly what it supposed to do.
I posted a video ages ago about this net macro, still not fixed :(
Just make it a set time Devs. Hold the button and then you’re free after X seconds. And fix the perk for traps taking longer not working.

Seems like an ease fix. I was begging devs to fix marking of cloaked prerds since May… I guess we will have to wait for this one too…

Good God, this is insane. @splifftor was explaining this too me on Sunday. I’ve unfortunately experienced this myself whilst playing a full PC fire team and I’m a PC player myself. Really sucks that this is actually a thing, and it’s pretty lame that I’m the one that’s being told to “git gud” when I net someone and this exact thing happens. Pisses me off, and really hope that @Courier,@IllFonic see this and address it sooner rather than later.

Long press is a good idea, and a pretty simple way for sure. I’d be happy with that.
I have no problem with someone using a record clicks macro to do this as having to bash a button is obnoxious. Setting a click timer <0.06 seconds would be cooked but, coz thats how fast I click. PS I don’t use them but the game seems to be based around PC using macro (otherwise there would be an ADS toggle) ;o

I like that idea. It would also encourage more FT players to stick together and work together to free there teamates.
The only people still playing this game are pred mains, console players, bads, like a single russian 4 stack and uh…stoned and/or PTSD afflicted man children who still get immersed. And you, you have some weird thing going on where you post your life history in a video game forum and then abuse suicidal people. :3

Ok, Illfonic has been aware of this issue since the TRIAL WEEKEND, when we TOLD THEM and then SHOWED THEM IN A PRIVATE GAME WITH 2 DEVS where we demonstrated an rp103 emptying a clip in 3 seconds, an ak doing it in 0.9 seconds and net escape: On topic, I think you guys are screwed if this issue is affecting your gameplay experience.
Yeah your right. Course were screwerd if FT players use this as an advantage. It’s not really fair sportsmanship and also not accurate to what was seen on screen In Predator 2 and AVP, and if you have something like this to aid you in winning then bravo, you’ve just made the mission/match even shorter than it already is.
Also, I’ll just add that I dont main one or the other and enjoy both FT and Pred, but even I can see that this is an unfortunate mechanic.
