just thjought id toss this into the thread for a comparison with the leaked map. It is just as i thought, completely different.
All the maps are fairly unique and i cant put heads or tails if they are in the same zone.
I think the old leaked map is HQ
I obviously don’t have any evidence to back it up
It’s either Airfield, HQ, or maybe it’s the dev room

Well probably have the new map and mode for xmas. Looks pretty big. If mode is Gauntlet, it sounds like it’s defensive oriented from definition. Maybe location on the map will have to be defended.
Perhaps it sounds a bit like clash, but besides been a change up, I think clash it also like a test mode to get some data from players

Gauntlet sounds an awful like battle royale
as a size comparison is definitely maybe twice as big as our regular ones width wise. and HQ is likely. Still hard to tell as i only see huts there similar to stuff on Overgrowth.
Still I would like to get another map and mode this month…for free. Plus a paid DLC if they could announce that.
This lockdown has made gaming convenient. I just dont want to let my november and december be all about this during my daytimes.

If you combine Derailed and overgrowth, backwater and excavation, (or any combo take your pick) then this unreleased map, You now have 3 maps roughly for Gauntlet
I thought they would release gauntlet for all of them. you think the Clash will be for all of them too and there is Airstrip and HQ to come.

I think it was figured gauntlet was 15 players? While workable I guess, 15 people is a lot for derailed so it makes sense to double the size of the map. Especially if the unreleased map is so large by comparison
