I have to admit, though I’ve been generally satisfied with the game and still do enjoy it, the Preds do need some more TLC when being created/programmed. Wolf and Viking are prime examples. Viking should not be so sluggish and he should do lots more melee damage than any other, him being such a brute. And Wolf having such low gear points is just silly, really. The opposite of the character we know and love. And both having such low stamina is absurd. All these things can and should be tweaked. Exiled being a little weaker is fine, having field-made gear with his backstory, but dang, give him a little more health. He’s still a Pred after all.
And at no point should any human character be able to chase down a Pred on foot, other than Dutch 2025. As he’s enhanced. Catching up to them like Harrigan, sure but no FT character should be faster than Barry Allen.

Maybe. I’m expecting high attack power, stamina and speed.
I mean it makes sense for Wolf’s stamina to be low, he’s an old man, as said by the producer and monster designers. He’s no longer in the prime of his youth like many other Hunters
Not really because he literally went over 24 hours hunting Xenomorphs and a Predalien without slowing down, or stopping.

im hoping this whole debacle after this patch helps illfonic to take a bit better care of their future dlcs. changing perk and gear points and stats is as easy as changing a value in code, so bump up these preds to be a little more useful.

he’s no longer in his prime, but his experience should come into play as well. hence, his gear points. also im sure there’s gas station yautja endurance enhancers that he could have stocked up on as well.

Your name and profile pic are absolutely foul hahah. But I agree, he needs to feel like the veteran he is.
It should be at 3 bars, IMO. He’s not as old as Elder, I think. He should have 10-12 perk points and 15 gear points. I wrote up a summary of suggested changes to him in Feedback titled Stupid questions or something recently. I felt it was a very fair assessment.

it should have reflected his gear, but didn’t, which is why i hope they give him a bit more of a buff in the next patch. they said they’re basing it on consumer feedback, so I can’t imagine them saying that and not.

Bottom line, Illfonic is gonna do as they see fit. It’s up to us to RESPECTFULLY, but humorously detail changes that need to be made. If we go in like a genuine bunch of dick heads, they’ll ignore constructive feedback. And the requested changes do need to be maderepeatedly, lest they fall through the cracks.

been lurking for awhile, a lot of old users have said they made a lot of respectful attempts back when the game came out, and they were ignored. so i dunno what to believe anymore lol

This is absolutely how it has been. What they’re doing isn’t working. This game still lacks compelling interactions with AI, balance is all over the place with a narrow meta on both sides, and mechanics that leave new players watching in third person, more often than actually playing the game.
