This has been confirmed for some time. There called dedicated servers.

Private matches are p2p with the the party creator as host.

The whole pred team up mode is just to have fun with friends like ft does.

It’s not just your skill in the hunt. Now you’re teammate can carry you through your mistakes.

I wouldn’t mind the mode as a private match option, but I wouldn’t particularly enjoy having it as a queue up option, taking fireteam players out of the current Hunt rotation.

The FT have different abilities. They can’t leap over buildings, target isolate the predator, or get one hit knockdowns. The predator is the hunter. The FT have to survive. Different goals.

It’s more about having fun.
And a team of good preds wouldnt really be making that many mistakes.

Like, wouldnt you like to team up with other preds?
Joke around, have a good time, hopefully find a good team to go up against?

I think it would be great in public que too and would do amazing work improving pred population skill. Some of the Youngbloods can learn a thing or two first hand from more experienced players like they do on FT.

I suppose there have been times where even honorable predators have used the help of others. I guess I just wouldn’t want it hogging the FT players.

I have a lot of fun playing regular hunt as predator. I even use every different kind of predator.

The only time I’m not having fun as predator, is if I’m trying to use the war club.

Win or lose it’s not as fun as it once was, and I think its mainly due to the repetition.

But just being completely honest, I feel that the way you’re looking at it is a bullshit way to go about it.

You’re basically saying, only scrubs team up.
But then when I apply that logic to ft, you try to give them special treatment.

You’re looking down on those who want to team up as pred cause you think it wont take any skill then.

That’s what it sounds like.

If anything, you would get better matches in a 2v8 or 3v12.
All the good players tend to know more people so they would be more likely to be bunched up.

If anything this would create for better matches.

Anyway man, I just really feel you’re looking at it the wrong way.

And most of us want this.
