Xian plays only fireteam as he said, so his knowledge of the game is limitated. Also to help noob people in pubs you can do a tutorial, not increasing the damage. Imagine good people that were winning 100% games as ft being boost with even more damage than before.
I disagree FT is not vastly superior. Still haven’t seen a legit 1v1 happen.

I won’t comment on the balance, but, I can tell you I have disagreed with every change they’ve made that has reduced the killing power of Predator.
Bring back OG combi and get all of Predator’s weapons on par.
Bring back full damage roof slam.
Bring back one shot shoulder caster.
Bring back indestructible traps.
