Just came here to say the pistol is far from being meta. Is good, now, because it was trash before. But is still not OP. Is powerful at close range, where the predator is extremely vulnerable, so I’d say its balanced in that way

I think the 3v12 or even a 4v12 should trigger a refresh on the game. The two game modes have become boring because people pretty much have memorized everything there is to it. Missions were never that complicated or interesting to begin with. Multiple maps have exactly the same missions/objectives.
I think a big map, no missions, no AI in a true “Game Preserve” mode where both factions hunt each other would be interesting.
You can only get so far with new DLC characters. That time is done for PHG. People will keep buying it for eye candy and that’s about it.

I can enumerate a number of things that have been requested pretty much since day 1 (two years ago) and we still have no idea of they have even been considered
#1 Game modes
There have been requests for Predator single player mode. There’s even a video of said game mode on YouTube, so, it kinda exists already? Yes? No? Is this a fan made mod thing? Can you even answer this question?
Hunting party = A group of predators hunting a group of FT players. Suggestions have been 3v8, 3v12, 4x16. It really doesn’t matter. The basic idea is that people want to play Pred as a team just like they do with FT
Now, game wise, there have been numerous requests for performance improvements. Console players always complaining of PC playing on “Potato graphics” and even go as far as consider it unfair and “cheating”, when reality is people playing on such graphics is to compensate for the unstable drops in frames. Even on High end hardware (RTX 3090) this game has massive frame drops. Even at low resolutions, even with all low graphics you get framerate drops in the excess of HUNDREDS! Going down from as high as 300FPS to as low as 50FPS. Again, this has been requested since day one and to this date, performance has only gotten worse.
Better aim-assist for console. Self explanatory. Aim assist on this game is barely existent, if it even does. To make a more fair crossplay they need that. Accuracy on a controller is not comparable to a mouse unless aim assist is implemented effectively. As a bonus, implement it also for PC players who decide to play on a controller.

They’re contractors specifically so that they can claim less responsibility and can make a quick buck while shifting blame to the publisher & other outside entities like lawyers.
I would literally rather see a public crowdfunder to put the license in the hands of someone who actually gives a shit.
PHG 2 would be the same thing except maybe this time they bother to animate the fireteam’s hands interacting with objectives before releasing the game.
Same shitty servers.
Same shitty optimization.
Same shitty balance.
Same inability to properly hotfix the game.
Man’s really out here asking PHG 2 when PHG has some of the worst live service i’ve seen in the 2 years it has existed. Wants devs that can barely make UE4 work to move to UE5 with all its new bugs. An upgraded renderer isn’t going to do anything for this game other than brick CPUs.
Thats exactly what i mean. thats why i used the NFL example. but a publicly crowdfunded student project would be underwhelming too. Unless it was a large studio public crowd funding. but that never happens unless it was a privately funded undisclosed project which usually happens with games. Infact AFTE was like that. if people recall.
Listen, through all of the bugs…illfonic puts the effort required to their possible standards. Now the metas if the pred can be countered but extremely difficult. Same with the fireteams meta preds have counters too. Everyone points the finger of thus is op that’s op…what really should be illfonics focus is to try harder and get the bugs out of the game. Then after PHG has a good stretch without bugs, then they can focus on dlc’s. Everyone is asking for Danny Glover’s character and a city map. So when that comes out if it ever does because who knows how long it will be before the bugs are out. Then they can work on adding a new mode with 3 preds vs 3 or 2 fireteams. Everyone wants that sooner but it’s gonna need a wait. I don’t know if illfonic watches player streams of this game but it might help them get the bugs out. Anyways my 2cents is in…it’s gonna be along wait for new dlc coming out. Illfonic, try your best to get the bugs out nothing needs to be nerfed or amped, all sides are gonna find ways if countering the weapons mechanics. We all just hope they use skill instead of completely obliterating their opponents.
