Just had a match where I went around the whole map for 5 minutes activating target isolation in all 4 sides of the map and I couldn’t find one single pig. I ended up the losing the match because I couldn’t heal up because of that :D, anyone else ran into that issue before? This is my first time where I legitimately couldn’t find a single pig on the whole map.

Pig spawns are really inconsistent. Sometimes you’ll have twenty pigs and sometimes you’ll only have two.

Yeah, it happens. That’s why I always carry med kits because as @SnakeSound222 stated, there can be twenty or zero…

Pigs are in vicinity of the fireteam. If you run too far you won’t find anything.

Yeah, this happens from time to time. Always seems to be when you’re up against a pre-made team all running Dutch. Then next match you’ll be tripping over pigs as you battle a random FT who don’t know one end of their guns from the other.

FT running around speedrunning objectives spawns very few pigs. If they get stuck at a compound a few minutes you get like 5 pigs that spawn there.
If its a good FT you’re going to need to pre-kill pigs lest they despawn. But youll probably only have time to eat one.

I wonder if depawning pigs is a performance issue…would really like to just see pigs roaming around on the match straight from the start of the map and leave it at that, no spawning or de-spawning.
Ps4 compensation issue but also the entire map is rendered at once because illfonic cant optimize

I’m hating backwater more than usual.
Had a team just waste 15 minutes forcing a stalemate just standing out in the water trying to bait the pred instead of doing objectives.
Just check early in the match. I kill 5 or more hogs every match, although you probably won’t use them. More will spawn if you kill at least two.
I think backwater has a pig spawning problem but I think I figured out that the pigs spawn in close vicinity if u stay in an area for a bit of time
Yeah any video when I lose 🤣 and yeah typically it happens on backwater oh and you’ve been summoned 😏
I’ve seen the issue more on derailed. Hate this issue.
