Offline mode with bots

Hell yeah

More difficult FT bots for sure and AI Preds too. Big jungle cats and crocs would be neat as well

Agreed but they will have to make much smarter AI for it to be any fun. As it is the AI is laughable.

Realistically, there are no animals that would pose a threat to Predators. That being said, i think a wild life hunt would be significantly benefiticial if it were like RDR2 wild life scouting system add different worlds and alien wild-life, and maybe some fauna that was particularly dangerous like in the movie Predators. This is important when scouting for new locales to throw your game into.

I think, if the devs turned up the AI difficulty, it would help in an offline mode. Plus, think of the added challenge of being an FT member being all sneaky and a jaguar leaps out at you or being a Pred in a tree and a Puma is in the same tree and leaps at you. It would make for more interesting, less predictable hunts

by turning up AI difficulty you’d probably have to include some real AI stuff. Otherwise, just to increase the hit dmg from AI would make the AI even more stupider and salt up the single player demographic with a massive dose of dark soy and vinegar.

I’d love to see an online mix and match bots and real people.

Just to see how many shitty FT players blame their death on their teammates.

And just to see how many shitty predator players blame their death on “cheaters”

I’ve been saying this before the game even launched. I feel offline will help the game especially players who like you said dont wanna wait in the long wait times plus you may not be the best at the game and offline gives you the chance to have fun and not get other players negativity or their gloating

Thank you!!!

Definitely ft and pred bots at the least my hope is that the core game can be played solo and offline if the player chooses.

Thank you to everyone has posted and replied to this thread. Let’s keep it going and let @IllFonic know this is something the players want.

I’ve already posted a few items, but if nothing else, I’d like to see actual difficult AI Predabots. I play offline to practice new predators, new FT builds by myself sometimes and one AI Predabot would go a long way to helping players practice and keep the game alive overall. AI teammates would be cool too, even if they’re just ok. They’ll never be as good as we are, but, I’d rather have the option.

Above all else if we could only play as one I’d most like to be able to play as the pred offline against ft bots but I agree hopefully we get both.

I don’t want the off-line mode. I NEED IT!! I hate waiting!!!

As it stands if I’m playing pred I can usually play for about 30 mins to an hour before the wait times make me want to move on to a different game. If we had the offline mode I could play pred for hours.

Claw to claw? Grizzlies, crocodiles, sharks, lions, rhinos, a pack of anything, elephants etc. Predators aren’t particularly difficult to mortally wound. They use attack dogs on eachother that are just wolf-boars & a pred has already lost to a grizzly bear lol.
If adrien brody with an axe could bash the hell out of a super predator, I have no doubt preds could get mauled by any animal capable of overpowering them or just going for the throat.

What i meant is that they aren’t in any danger directly unless they placed themselves in danger. A man would be stalked by a lion but a Yautja? I wouldn’t normally think so.
A man beast with bronze metal on their bodies, with crocodile skin, and green luminous blood? I don’t think that would ever be on their menu. Plus their blood would have unknown effects to something that might eat a yautja…even if they do it could be poisonous or life saving medicine to others.

I’ve come around on the off line mode. I think it’s priority now and i think it should be a FT tutorial. Don’t get me wrong I’d love to NOT play with other people in this game and not wait 10 minutes at a time to properly practice a new pred build.

I definitely feel that a learn the ropes, game mechanics and importance of team work tutorial for FT is essential now. Others solo modes can come later but I feel that should be priority.

PLus, the offline stuff should also be controller agnostic. Meaning they should be able to test their abilities in a trial for speed and accuracy with either keyboard/mouse or PS controller and be able to provide some sort of ranking.
This will bring both PS players and PC to the same level.

The offline mode needs to be the same as online but with bots. Tutorials are welcome sure but including avoiding the wait times we need a way to play this game in the event of loss of connection or knock on wood the servers turn into ghost towns a year or two down the road. This needs to to be the priority for offline play other things like special tutorials can always be added later.
