Then let them flip out. It’ll separate the actual good players from the ones who only win because of stupid mechanics. Spotting should be a Scout-exclusive ability and not work on cloaked Predators.

Scout exclusive sounds good. Maybe Scout to scout only. I just keep thinking how in Predator 87 where Mac and Apollo Creed where able to spot the Predator.

When i play as FT a dont spot pred… I can counter him if he think hes invisible, so i always wait for the moment when he stops and tryIng to be invisible so u can shoot half mag to him…But still… They need to remove this shit… But spam spotters gonna cry if they remove spotting 😁

I’ve come around on this. Yeah, direct spot needs to go. I think the one exception is when a fireteam player is downed. I think that’s the only time they should be able to highlight the Predator, as they’re basically helpless otherwise. It also allows the team to push him off and get the revive and makes it harder for the Pred to just bait the revive for free shots. It also makes being donwed more interesting, now you have a job. Highlight the Pred so the team can push him away and help you up.
Eliminate direct spotting with the exception of downed fireteam players.
Keep the general spotting eyeball icon thing.
Nerf Predator noise and noise direction.
Marking/spotting the predator has to go!!! Won’t play either side until its fixed! Its lame!!
Hi I’m the only guy here who disagrees. I think spotting is a crucial tool for both sides. It’s a necessary evil for the FT. And as the predator, being notified when you’ve been spotted is the counter to the spot. It tells you to disengage and reposition. Plus it’s only like a 3 second spot?
People like to think this game isn’t balanced, but I win about 50/50 on both teams. Losing half my games as a predator sounds unbalanced, but what’s the alternative? Who would play FT if they only had a 20% chance to win?
Nothing in the patch notes about spotting/marking means this game is still dead to me.
