Okay can we talk about Airstrip!

It’s a stretch but those are my thoughts. The next map in August should also be a larger map. I’d also suspect that gauntlet would be introduced in at that time.

So with enough practice you gonna make a certain weapon do more damage? Yeah sure. If you’re way better than the other player you can win with basically anything. That’s just how this game works. But I’m talking about when you’re just Straight comparing damage values and what not

Justin does bring up a good point, the size of Airstrip makes it feel like it’s intended to be a map for the new gauntlet mode… if that’s the case, it’s likely they could tune the ammo spawns for hunt vs gauntlet in time.

ALso keep in mind, the map is still new, and they might not have the exact balance worked out for it.

A thing to keep in mind about Illfonic, something people REALLY need to remember, is Illfonic are great at representing the source material of the license they are working with, they are NOT the best at gameplay in general… hince why PHG, much like F13, will never be a proper e-sport. This is intended to be a fun silly game that recreates the action setpieces and “feel” of the Predator Franchise.

you’re looking at it the wrong way, it’s more that with enough practice, a good FT can defeat those numbers by avoiding your attacks and generally doing everything they can to block those numbers from even becoming a FACTOR.

the game consists of two sides, and no matter how much you crunch the numbers, Luck, and your opponent outplaying you, can make all the math in the world crash down around your head.

That’s what I just said. If the other guy is better than you he can beat you with anything. But that still doesn’t make the PDW’s dps higher than the AK’s lol ya feel me

Correct, but that DPS isn’t entirely correct if the player using it can’t hit their shots, and there also the weird hitreg in this game sometimes and the fact that the game just… eats shots into the void sometimes… [or branches, fuck invisible branches.]

Would you able to take Fire on as a team mate for our match? He won’t get out of my DMs and has moved from saying game is dead and he has depression to saying he doesn’t have a crew to play with.

Well yeah now you’re getting into anecdotes again. I’m not talking about that. Just which weapon is better. Cause in every scenario if you are using a lower dps weapon you will end up doing less damage. If that means you missed 90% of your shots and only did 200 damage all game, had you been using a better weapon it would have been 250 damage. Catch what I’m saying

Yeah of course I’d plan with Fire he’s dat boi

I get what you’re saying, but I refuse to go by raw numbers, ruins too many games and too many people get bogged down in the numbers, good to be aware of, not worth obsessing over.

Good. Now he has no excuse. Thank you.

Soooo then why not lead with this!!!

Lol.

I mean that’s fine. Hahah my favorite gun is the semi auto sniper. It’s definitely bad but I love it and use it lol. I’m not saying freak out over it. What I’m saying bothers me is when people don’t say it’s there favorite but claim it’s the best when it’s just blatantly not. I’m all for running whatever makes ya happy

I run the Netgun despite how everyone shits on it but it’s never done me wrong. My 2nd favourite pred weapon after the combi.

s’all good. Ultimately play how you want, unless you’re a bow hopper… then you’re bad blood garbage. lol

I made a post the other day explaining why you HAVE to run net gun to beat the uber sweat teams. It’s the only way to guarantee a tank doesn’t exfil in your face(you can’t do enough damage in the 2 seconds to just down them) and there’s tons of cheeky things the ft can do with the respawn that netgun can counter lol

Bow Hoppers have no honor. Make us other Preds look back.

Yeah I don’t do that 😟😟😂

I was 1000% assuming you were a bow hopper hahah
