Shotguns in the game use 00 buckshot which IRL is effective at 0-12 meters. Past that, its effectiveness decreases and by 45 meters is useless. Most engagements in the game are around 30-40 meters, which, yeah, renders shotguns ineffective. IRL it would be the same. That being saidā€¦In the game, the first thing I have no idea is why 3 guns that shoot exactly the same ammunition vary so greatly in damage. The DJL does deliver powerful damage up close. Around as the same as the bolt action sniper rifle, but the others are shit.

Thatā€™s what i was talking about.
In the game shotguns are only effective at 3 meters max, not 12. Not even close. And even at 3 meters it doesnā€™t even deal the damage it should comparing to other weapons.

Seriously. Now I can laser focus the center of the screen and barely barely touch the stick to keep it centered, compared to before when I constantly had to adjust. Its ridiculous. Hammerhead, SMGs, the ficking 1011-12, all shoot with little to no recoil and its dead still with weapons training.

No exactly. I dont even want to play Pred in pubs anynore because any potato can just point and shoot, no skill needed. And if I DO run into skilled players, thats it, its done. Guess its time to be a FT main. At least the queue times are better.
