if you pick one you have to extract otherwise you lost it
They are small and red colored (exotic ofc. thats why the drop rates are rare)

Same issue JUST happened to me.
I got 3 OWLF recordings and only 1 unlocked. This needs to be fixed, it’s really annoying
Wtf is OWLF recordings anyway and why should it be collected.
You have to find them around the map like Veritanium, but also have to complete mission and extract via helicopter to actually collect them.
yes, if you die during mission, the recording is left at where you died at , if you can get reinforced, just go and collect, but if not… out of luck.
the OWLF, is the Other Worldly Life Foundation, seen in Predator 2, they document predator sightings and stuff, its just for lore.
It’s the storyline to the game.
Well written and full of surprises. Worth it.

This bug is still exist. I recently have found 4 records and 3 of em did not appeared in rec’s menu, they are still locked. They were highlighted in yellow but after I clicked on em - nothing changed.
It also happened to me with two recordings. I found three since the update and only one was unlocked.
