My only concern really is self revive being to much and the emp grenade
The only way “good-great” preds can really win against another good team on ps4 is with combi other wise chances are very very slim
Now after the update ppl can self revive its gonna be a pain (personally I don’t really care about needing to down ppl over again lol but other will definitely complain)
Also my concern for the emp is it gonna be like a energy overload because energy overloads are already a bitch lol
Picture this, a 4vs1 match, the 4 ft are more than capable of putting damage on you every time you peek your head out a corner, and now they have their own equivalent of target isolation, except they get 4 at a time, grenades that uncloak you, and if you down someone, they can just pick themselves up, they have ammo and health in bulk, and can resupply at any ammo crate or health crate. Your limited to 2 healing kits and your pigs only spawn near the fireteam.
Your in second wind trying to get away but the fireteam uses their target isolation in turn whenever they need it, you can’t get away, you can’t stop to heal, you can’t even hide.
This is exactly the fate that stands before us, this update had better come out with some very serious Predator buffs to counter this, if not the predator becomes laughably unplayable.
All this overreacting and OTT speculation is maddening, I love it, hahaha!
Why are we punishing predators for not claiming?

My guess is that we get 3 Free Predator masks through Feild Lockers as stated, but we get one of them through Paid DLC. I take it is this way because as we know Mr.Black has a different skin design than JH and the 3 (including mr.black ) masks make up the rest of this tribe. I can only assume this DLC will have a new weapon and I’m guessing its the UAV…the one in the leaks…and thats probably why FT are getting the UAV Scanner.
I for one will buy this Predator just for it’s skin. Even though we get 3 on the Aug 28. I will welcome it in by getting the skin it was made for!

We haven’t even tried it yet, let’s not imagine it being OP before we’ve even played any of it and then ask for ridiculous costs based on our own imaginings.
While speculations and just conversations in general about update are good, I think we should save final judgement until after the patch drops, cause we know what the fireteam items are but have no idea how they will be used so lets try to keep an open mind on things.

Don’t know if it’s EMP or not though. “Anti-Cloak” doesn’t necessarily mean energy overload.

@OldKingHamlet, in regards to the 3 bio masks for the Pred, can you say if they are Illfonic creations or based on IP “assets”. Im curious. ;)

I was thinking it could be water, but I’m going for the traditional chaff/emp grenades.
Overall I am pretty excited for all that is coming and the change to dynamics this will bring. Hopefully the metagame will have to evolve as the typical combi-throw and stab tactics by every 2-bit pred is getting quite stale.
Most excited for cross play parties/private matches though 🤪

Ok but I’m a little confused, is this stuff here today or is it coming on the 28th? And they also said something about having more dlc revealed this month? So I’m kinda confused.
They need to improve Predator cloaking fireteam members already getting anti clock nades an invisibility already sucks lol
They will be custom masks. IP masks have only been released with IP Predators, not a reason to change it now.
