Having this same problem, cant change loadout once I find a game. To fast on countdown.
Patch Notes 1.05 (Hotfix)
We need a resolution fix and aspect ratio fix. I cant use any 21:9 or 32:9 resolution (3440x1440 or 5120x1440). There is no option for this resolution at all! Funny thing it that the Predator tutorial works fine, but online it doesnât work at all!. My game gets zoomed in and it is totally unplayable due to this on my 5K monitor. Other games like Doom Eternal they have support and a good way to run higher aspect ratio monitors.
If I use lover like 2560x1440p or 1920x1080p the game gets zoomed in and/or the screen is cropped vertically. Please add this support and fix it in next update!

Can someone please let me know if the ps4 matchmaking is fixedâŚi want to buy the game but not if I canât get into a match.

For some it is, for some not so much. I and other players find the matchmaking fixed, but there still are cases where for some people it doesnât work properly.
Letâs say itâs a 50/50.
I have to mention that I find a match in less than 30 sec. If I see the timer going past the 60 sec mark I cancel the search and start a new one and it always finds a match.

I heard if you go no preference the matchmaking is way faster.
But searching on Predator is like 5-8 mins

Indeed , because the âno preferenceâ option might place you as a Fireteam member. Knowing the fact that almost everyone wants to play as the Predator , and the waiting time being 5mins, the âno prefâ looks for other âquickerâ options to place you in a match.
I always pick the âno preferenceâ and I almost always end up as a Fireteam member. I enjoy the Fireteam experience more so I donât mind it.
I like both of them to be fair , so I always go no preference.

This is a really good idea.
Iâm hearing loads of whining about matchmaking times as the predator and this could fix that.
As far as I can see there isnât a problem with the matchmaking itself, itâs with everyone wanting to play predator. With 1 predator and 4 fireteam squad members per match there just arenât enough new matches to place everyone as pred as everyoneâs queuing to play predator only. I can get in a fireteam game in under 2 minutes, predator can take 10.
As with all asymmetric multiplayer games whether its splintercell multiplayer with everyone wanting to play spy, or resident evil resistance players wanting to play mastermind - everyone wants to be the badass villain and you canât account for player preference.
This suggestion means that âa matchâ is everyone plays 4 fireteam rounds and gets 1 round predator each in a random order.
Anyone who simply quits after getting their predator turn either forfeits xp, veritanium or both.
Anyone who is a good sport and lasts out all 4 rounds and the predator round gets a 35% boost on thier final xp score and veritanium.

I was downed and held down E (my self detonate button) and it didnât work. Itâs as if I didnât press the key at all. What the?
Should be an alphabet to choose from instead oe the same 8 or 9 symbols
Been doing that since day 1. Reached 100. Finally want to tackle being the pred.

The symbols are the Predators alphabet but I understand what you mean, even tho I prefer the symbols. Looks cooler imo.

I just meant for them to add more letters from the preds alphabet.
Can defuse the bomb nearly everytime now
Any idea when the Predator 87 will be fixed? Pre-ordered for that and still canât use it. Not to mention I cannot use the XP Bonuses.
Oh, thatâs a good idea ! This way, the defusing will be more unpredictable, but will require a bit more dexterity.
I donât want to leave you in the dark, but I havenât seen, or heard, anybody else having problem with the 87âs predator. The XP boost is a real issue circling around the bugs thread. But the 87âs Predator issue⌠I really donât know. Maybe uninstall-install, otherwise a patch is the only solution.

About that $80. After 2 days from launch day, they patched a few bugs and errors while trying to fix the matchmaking too. Just 2 days later, other companies need a month to do something like this. The patch is not 100% perfect, but it fixed the problems for a lot of people. Not to mention the whole pandemic situation we are in right now, devs too. And even so, 2 days later the game got a decent patch.

My main two concerns are the bugs with the plasma caster hitting thin branches and leaves and the predator tree movement needs a bit polishing thatâs all other than that , Iâm addicted to being the predator , you guys created a great game just dont give up on it

Give them good feedback if you want the game to get better, I paid for this game as well so Iâm on the same boat as everyone but I still appreciate the effort theyâre making already to correct it, complaining and insulting wonât help anyone, times are tough you guys are not looking at the bigger picture, again great game , Iâm realistic I dont mind the wait times

you have to bring the definitive predator in a new way, where he is more resistant and stronger, but facing more players (soldier), he would use dogs as in the movie ⌠it would be great, think please.
