Perma Invisable Predator ps4

So apparently there is an Exploit that A Predator can be perma Invisable for the match. Don;t know how it’s being done but it has to stop.

I’ve seen it personally as a FT member. In I posted about it last week. The Player knew that the Predator was permanently invisible and used the exploit to take down our FT. I’m not sure how the permanent invisibly is created, but it’s a pain in the ass.

Ppl who’ve played enough have ran into this glitch, I havent seen a fully invis pred, but I have seen ft fully invisible.

The only thing I know of permanent invisibility is infinite cloak, it might be a bug with that build but I do not know for sure, but that might be a start to find the source and then go from there.

Fully invisible predator is a thing go cloaked and stand still in front of your friend and I bet he will say you went completely invisible but if their moving and completely invisible yeah it’s not supposed to happen

I can teach you all the ways
Simply pick elder (don’t know if hunter or scout works)
Put on modified reserves and light bender and you got infinite cloak, as long as you’re not using vision mode
This is the build I use for my elder but I don’t know if it’s an exploit because it’s these 2 perks that make it work
Should it be in the game tho? Probably not

It’s as ez as that so yeah go ahead and try it plus it’s aids with the hand held lol

Haven’t run into a permanently invis pred yet (although there are like 50 threads on this forum about it since 1.13), have once run into invis FT (and actually invis, not using the blackwater clipping exploit).
Playing as pred 99% of the time might explain why I haven’t seen it happen to a pred lol.

It is obviously a real thing but does not seem to be an exploit/hack just a fucked up bug. Possibly related to the invisible weapons bug.

For once in this game it would appear that it’s actually more a PS bug than PC

Haven’t run into it personally but watched It on YT The other day. Guy was inside the building (opposite the sniper nest on overgrowth)

He got slashed three times and each slash didn’t disable cloak like usual. And the same effect you get for the fire team when the predator stands completely still was the same but without the cloak blur

The two perks compliment each other Light Bender consumes less energy whilst Modified Reserve energy regeneration is faster.

Unless you run those on samurai in which case it has no effect.

I was testing it out today, here’s my findings when equipping Light Bender + Modified Reserve perks. Each Predator class has different levels of battery consumption + recharge rate.

  • Hunter: Holds battery charge and actually recharged to max
  • Scout: Battery continues to drain, but slowly
  • Berserker: Battery continues to drain, but faster than Scout
  • Jungle Hunter: Holds battery charge exactly where it was when cloak is activated, doesn’t move up nor down
  • Elder: Holds battery charge and recharges back to max — might be better than Hunter
  • Alpha: Holds battery charge, but then very slowly recharges back up
  • Samurai: Battery continues to drain slowly, but I believe at a faster rate than Berserker

The best Cloaked Battery recharge rate seems to be the following:

  1. Elder
  2. Hunter
  3. Alpha
  4. Jungle Hunter

The worst Cloaked battery consumptions are:

  1. Samurai
  2. Berserker
  3. Scout

@Orune it doesn’t seem to be a glitch, nor exploit but it’s a META loadout strategy, and I’m fine with it.

The things to keep in mind:

  • Cloak turns off once any non-stealth kill melee attack occurs
  • Cloak is affected by water still
  • More movement makes cloaking less effective as usual

He’s not talking about people being cloaked legit. It’s a current bug where the Predator is completely invisible (No blur or anything) while moving, and attacking (which usually disables cloak) . Creating a Loadout that optimizes energy consumption is another thing and completely fair as you stated. However in this bug the Predator is typically unaware and does not even need to use Cloak to be fully invisible while moving and attacking. If I find the video I seen I’ll post it.

Yeah, what’s being reported is not caused by the perks.

I don’t have clips, so I can’t really back it up, but I’ve encountered invisible preds in 4 matches totally. As others have stated even after the pred attacks they remain invisible and their is no motion blur on movement. I’ve gone so far as parrying one of these preds and still they remain invisible.

It does seem to be a visual glitch. The invisible pc still collided with things, can be shot, and from what I can tell still draws npc fire. In one of the matches our pred began invisible, but we managed to second wind him when he was claiming someone. After he healed and returned he was visible with motion blur and everything. (Makes me wonder if this is like the fire team bug where your gun disappears, but still fires and reloads normally.)

ETA: At least in my matches I could hear the cloak being used, so I don’t think the pred was aware that he couldn’t be seen. I also can’t really tell where the glitch is taking place. (A visual bug on my computer, bad information from server, the preds pc/console, etc.)
