I dont play because of it, it was the one thing i enjoyed and never EVER did it make me OP, oneshotting someone doesnt mean you win, it just rewarded you for beeing a good aim and time/lead your shots, plus charged shots melts your energy so you cant spam it.
This patch wants you to spam, damage is higher on tap shots now, iso i guess they want it to be used as a semi rifle.
so disheartening, across all the groups and forums people are moaning about the pred being to melee spammy so i perfected my caster game to now be given the only choice to win is to melee spam, the caster was perfect prior to the update despite people saying it was week even then, so why nerf it even more 😔
yea they are making changes to the game that players did not request

i know did you see the survey after filling it out you can see the results and EVERY one agreed the caster was to weak, so they make it weaker 🤔🤦♂️

Its a pillow shooter now, it has to go back to normal.
Seems like the most fair compromise. If you want that plasma caster to one shot again, you have to sacrifice 5 perk slots for it with the down range perk. Discourages berz predators, Is basically free for scout preds
I think why they changed it is due to when you did down a FT with it, when their teammate tried to revive them you could just down the other easily, now it give FT a chance to get their guy up. It is decent now, but could use some changes not to damage but how the weapon operates itself
1 shot down is OP. i felt like total fucking noob using it to down someone. git gud scrubs its still powerfull AF lol
relax all it takes is 2 hits now. get creative in your approaches. game is easy mode for predator now. charge one follow by a fast one. if youve got someone trapped its guaranteed. if you are looking to down someone with doing nothing but holding left click i don’t know what to say.

Shoulder Cannon is fine. If your having trouble with it just jump in swing, knock some health down, jump out before u take damage then line up ur shot, you do that they’ll eventually run out of health. Simple.
I dont care that they lowered the direct damage but holy fk the full charge splash feels like it takes 4 full charge shots to down ppl. I don’t like that. I’d like splash damage to be higher.
Ok people like you need to stop. Stop showing videos trying to show your point when you’re playing against ppl who suck. Those guys were beyond blind.
Against alert smart players you woulda never pulled that off.
except this is a typical game now. i dont know where the pc snipers went.
plasma works great for splitting people up and making them run around. if you play as scout and rely only on ranged and dont want to close in, i suppose its going to be a different game.
or making them all run in a building and waste their mission timer while you wait outside and trap it.
