Knowing that the auto ready exists still on PS does change my opinion about the original topic of the thread.
That moves the issue into a bug.
I don’t think I’ve pressed ready to start a game in weeks? It always just auto-starts for me?
I can’t say I’ve experienced the same issue you’re having. That’s not to say your issue doesn’t exist, but just it doesn’t appear to be consistent.

which is why my original thought was player based. As PC pred I always have to hit ready.
if PS FT auto ready then that completely alters the perspective.
I am on PC, I never hit ready. The game starts automatically, no idea what you’re talking about.
If you have such problems just disable cross play yourself but then you will not have multiple people who are fodder to you (PS players) and longer que times.
I’ll try and get a fast match as FT before bed (although it’s 1am here and the chances are low).
If I can I will upload the fact that I’m required to hit ready.
(The original issue I brought up was as pred, but I have yet to see it differ when playing as FT and waiting for a pred match could take an hour).

so here is the match I just started.
As you will notice it doesn’t start until ready is clicked…

Dude, did you noticed they are all set to ready at the same time? After a set amount of time, the game just sets ready to everybody. That or when 1 set ready, it set for all, no clue. But the game starts for me every time (aside for bugs) and I never hit ready.
Try your experiment again. Just do something else, don’t hit ready, just sit there and wait. I got around 10 days of play time on EPIC, never hit ready unless I wanted to start in less then 4.
Oh and the MS changing means nothing. Me and my fried when looking at the same individual we were seeing differing MS, probably busted like so many other things.

I rarely click “ready” (PC). It isn’t required for the match to start. Just as selecting a spawn point isn’t required. If it is required, then it isn’t working. That being said, match making is still buggy as hell.

Weird, i’ve never had to press the ready button to start a round, for me it automaticly starts when all players have been connected and loaded in.

as you will notice, since there are 2 people readied up a count down starts. this is to give time for the squad to fill up. notice how that timer stops when someone is joining, and as soon as the team is full it AUTO “ready up” everyone at the same time then the new count down starts… you’re wrong and it is OK
