Someone has checked if the new patch affect the private matches too with the AI spawn decrease?
Totally agree there has to be some sort of training mode for the predator with an AI directed team right now a private match with no FT and just some random AI and pigs DOES NOT cut it. If the predator isnāt gonna be buffed at all then 100% we need a training platform that allows players to practice and get good with the predator so they have a chance against competent fire teamsā¦

Yeah. Plus, the Predator does not have access to the Second Wind or self destruct ability. Funny thing isā¦this is not even in the Tutorial (which shows you how to play as Predator). You do not know about these mechanics unless you play an actual match. But, what about those people who want to learn how to use the Predator and/or just want to enjoy the game by themselves (and without many of the frustration some players may be experiencing right now).
I find it odd that you can play as the Predator solo to begin with. If you play as a Fireteam member, the only experience taken away if the Predator. However, you can still win or lose the match. If you play as the Predator soloā¦there is no way to win the match. And you cannot self destruct (to end a match early once you kill all of the AI enemies).
Soā¦either they need to add more AI enemies OR allow the Predator the ability to go Second Wind (and activate self destruct) when he completely loses health (and not being dependent on whether the Fireteam is there or not). Orā¦add an AI Fireteam. At this pointā¦I would even take an āeliteā AI soldier type (like the ones you can trophy kill, but just make then more difficult to kill). This wayā¦even if the a player is not playing solo, they can still āwinā the match, end it quicker, or have more enemies to kill so they donāt have to wait for the timer to completely run out.
Agreed, but from a development standpoint, adding AI Fireteam members, or a Predator, would be some SERIOUSLY hard work. Illfonic has what, a 40-count team? Look at the AI for current NPCās. Thatās some basic ass coding, boys. Any offline mode where the Predator or Fireteam is controlled by AIā¦ letās just say itāll take some serious effort.

But also all these glaring issues you would have to be the same to let the game be released in such unfinished empty state, blind and stupid.
To make a game about predator where 80% of people arent the predator? Get fuct anyone with half a braincell could predict the issues that would arise then instead of doing research as to how to build an environment or story to engage that audience that is allready in letdown mode so not only are they ok with not being predator but prefer it you just roll the game out as complete no more thought no more addition just fuck lets just release a demo this is too hard.

I understand some people that almost donāt know nothing about predator are well with this game just like it isā¦ Yeahā¦ bum bum with guns and maybe a good day on twitchā¦ BUTā¦ a solo gameplay is needed for the iriginal predator fansā¦ and is needed to train and enjoy good matchesā¦ also for the multyplayer onlyā¦ not everyone have all the day to waste in bugged matchmaking only to be bullied by other playersā¦ soā¦ yes I will keep to ask this til the end. Technically there is one. You can make a private match with you as the lone player.
Admittedly it would be better if you could do that while queueingā¦ But since queues are borked and have to be canceled and requeued constantly, Im not sure if thats a high priority yet.
What would be a smart idea at least from the predator side of things is to have an offline mode where you can enable match making like Fighting games do with training mode. Fill the wait times up with something to do.

Iām sure thatās what a lot of people are doing that want a single player experience. Only problem is there are only about 15 AI on each make and maybe a boar or 2.
Would be nice to have an AI fireteam, so essentially you can play the same game and not have to wait for these queues.
Iām hoping they had an option like a AI fireteam with different difficulty settings.
Overwatch does the same. You can play quick deathmatch or even go training mode while in ranked queue.
Yeah I forgot about that havenāt played overwatch in years mostly play Fighting or stealth games

Very understandable. It would take time to add an offline mode with AI for Predator or Fireteam.
Right now, I would assume their main focus is getting the balancing and matchmaking issues still worked out and take care of the known bugs.
Also, if they do decide to add an offline modeā¦would it be Predator based, Fireteam based, or both? Which would be easier to do Fireteam AI or Predator AI?
Butā¦if they made the ability for Private Match to be played offline (which would be a Solo Match) and made a way for Predator to win the match (EX: having to find and trophy kill the āeliteā enemies) and allow the Predator access to the Second Wind ability (with the option for Self Destruct). This would be more of a Practice Mode where players can get used to the main mechanics of each faction as well as getting used to the various maps. However, eventually, the developers could add in AI to take the place of the Predator or Fireteam and then weād have a ācompleteā Offline Match mode.
At leastā¦this would give us an offline option (besides the Tutorial) until they could work out how they would go about the AI system of either a Predator or Fireteam.

yeah and then they gimped the AI density to discourage solo matchmaking I think. Didnāt make sense to do it otherwise. IF we canāt get Pred or FT bots, they NEED custom private match settings for Match TIME and especially things like AI density with tweaks for the various types of basic and Elite troops. This is important because the elite PMCs can be quick trophy claimed (not long though oddly). I would make Trophy claims give Veritanium similar to FT drops based on trophy quality (also add ability to do long claim even on these AI units to increase the V drop).
