For sure. Theyā€™re releasing Celtic Predator at some point in the future, and I expect him to have his awesome shuriken preferably not just another skin for the disc (although Iā€™m somewhat expecting that is the route they will go). Wolfā€™s whip would be a great new melee weapon, and his proximity weapons.

Open world MMO Predator game would be fucking amazing. You could even join other Predators on their hunts, or go full Bad Blood and hunt them tooā€¦ Would require a studio with a lot of resources, talent and vision thoughā€¦

There is no reason for them not to launch PHG 2 that would go beyond the 87 aesthetic, Iā€™m surprised they havenā€™t even considered it given that PHG was pretty successful and well received. If theyā€™ve been paying any sort of attention to the forums and what people have been saying here over the last two years then it should be a no-brainer. PHG 2 could expand beyond the jungles, with City maps and vast tundras even. But PHG is so based in the aesthetics of the 87 movie, itā€™s clearly too large of a task to implement more complex arenaā€™s and adapt the mechanics accordingly. And who knows what liberties Disney have given ilffonic, for all we know they could be restricted because Disney has other studios in mind to create future Predator and Alien titlesā€¦

It was clearly just a stepping stone

Which is a shame because it could have been a launch pad for illfonic

Iā€™m assuming Arcadageddon was a major flop which is why they went back to licensed IP

Yeah Iā€™ve always thought of something like destiny or now even elden ring for a predator open world thing and fromsoftware would definitely put a lot of effort but Disney seems to pick unknown or newer developers to make their games sadly. AFTE isnā€™t bad but not enough definitely content. Iā€™d honestly even just be happy if we got a sequel to avp 2010
