It’s not a paint job, it’s an entirely different 3d model, textures, and the aesthetic foundation for the look and feel of all Predators.
Robocop is one man, the Predators are an alien race with millions of individuals like humanity. So you can’t compare the two — players can play as a Predator from that alien race; whereas, in a Robocop game players would play as Robocop.
It’s a slim possibility, but very slim as most games never make pre-order content avail after the fact.
And even if it does, it would be more than a year later down the road towards the end of the life cycle of the game.

With MK11 Netherealm Studios advertised Shao Kahn as a pre order “Bonus”
PHG advertised the '87 Jungle skin as a pre order “Exclusive”
The two words are very different and holds weight as a contractual agreement between a business and it’s consumers
This is also why Netherealm Studios were able to make Shao Kahn available to everyone after the release of MK11

And that’s why Dutch 2025 was added, that’s why Alpha Predator was added, and that’s probably why we’ll have other Predator survivors like Lt Mike Harrigan added down the road as future DLCs.
They already deployed the ‘87 Jungle Hunter as a sales tactic, wait for it… fucking pre-orders.
It was the reason people like me pre-ordered to get something nostalgic from the franchise, which goes against the grain of the 2025 situation the game is set in that reflects cause and effect from the films.

Hmm… i agree. It begs for some -if not a good part nostalgia from the original film to be in there. It has alot to OWE to it considering the score was lifted and the design is still there in it’s environment and the SKIN of the BEAST.

@IllFonic has referred to the pre-order content as exclusive from the very beginning and I’ve referred to the term in my past arguments.
Sony’s announcement for Predator: Hunting Grounds and it’s pre-order content was announced on 10, December 2019 and the community had five months to pre-order.
I’m sorry but five months is nearly half a year — which was more than ample time for fans of the franchise to pre-order for access to the exclusive ‘87 Jungle Hunter content.

I literally bought a frigen PlayStation 4 Pro and pre-ordered just to play this game, for I haven’t owned a PlayStation since generation one. So, I don’t wanna hear people complaining that they bought a $39.99 game and didn’t pre-order so they deserve this or that.

Yeah i’ll be playing “days gone” and “the last of us 2” on the 19th, while you still be waiting 10 minute for predator matches just for a 5 minute ingame match lol fighting over a broken axe or bob cat skull spending over 100000 verintanium for a dublicate knife or pair of sun glasses after grinding away the same boring routine missions same maps ZzzZzzZzzzZz paying out for a dlc just for a character skin and audio tapes each month zzzZzzZzz lmfao god the games perishing so bad, enjoy donut. The bio-mask is already available to the entire player base as a mythical unlock. They don’t need to do it ASAP because you say so, for it’s been findable in Field Lockers since day 1.

Yes, yes I did buy a console and pre-ordered just to play this game. But as both a consumer and designer that creates corporate advertising — I see the debate from multiple lenses.
