Go for it đ
Post your videos here
Maybe have both teams go all out first? Core melons playing to win vs smithâs best?
See who wins to determine the ending :)
You can hide the laser behind cover, or look down or in a direction away from the ft while charging. Lens is more usefull if you plan on charging it like on branches since its harder to hide the laser there.
Yeah, I know about those tricks but I still find it easier to just use dithered lens. I think I just need more practice using the plasma caster without dithered lens. I remember you used to use dithered lens in your old videos.
I donât have a team lol, also Iâm not gonna be playing that much after this month is over.
Sorry, meant your best gameplay.
Okay so judging by your gameplay, the name and look of your Predator, Iâm gonna have to label him as a Mercinary (which there suprsingly are) and he is apart of Vipers Clan of Mercs. These guys work outside of honorbound codes while also working with Enforcers (police like Predators) in order to stay clean and keep other Honorbounds from killing them, think of Suicide Squad like conditions.
Moving on from that, the story goes that members of the Mercs clan have gone missing on Earth. None of which came back alive, both young and old who where either there for business or a form of training in the art of the hunt. Viper the Clan leader sent Snake, a hunter like Predator who has been to Earth plenty of times was sent as a scout to see what was happening. All the pinpoints of the last known locations of the hunters where in South America, when there he noticed a war between humans which was the perfect time for hunt of any view of a Predator. Though with every time a gunfight would break out, humans using a patch of a watermelon could be spotted, a death squad more advanced heavily more trained then the guerrilla fighters.
The humans that Snake labeled âMelon Squadâ made themselves more of the culprits when one member held out a deadlock and dangled it with joy or show of dominance. A fire like no other was lit inside Snake seeing such a object that was meant to be held in high standards being used as a play trinket sent him over the edge. The Hunt had begun, drawing the Fireteam âMelon Squadâ by creating chaos of his own in the form of dead bodies in trees. The hunt was long and hard, bloody and painfulâŚâŚbut in the end, the Snake came out victorious holding the skulls of which he deemed responsible for his fallen brother and sisters deaths in his hands.
The Melon Squad may have been defeated this dayâŚâŚSnake even believing he cut the killer squad out of existence, making it easier for other hunters to hunt successfully on such a worthy planet with worthy foes. Though this wasnât the case from a far away drone camouflaged in the sky spying watching everything, the people watching wearing Melon patches only ordering one thing âKeep a eye for this one, and send in the next squadâ.
Oof! I didnât see this and went ahead and made my own đ
Awesome stuff. Melons should incorporate predlocks into their attire. Death to the Melons đ
Although the Melon Squad is identified by their melon patches, it would also be interesting to give them a specific PRED hunting tactic or something like that.
Do you think Melon Squad hunts preds indiscriminately or do they go for PRED mercs specifically because if their how hunting code?
If I was to keep true to PHGâs lore Iâd say that the Melon Squad is like a extension of the OWLF or Voodooâs squad just hunting down Predators of any ethnicity regardless on what rank or title they hold. Dutch would honestly probably like to join the Melon squad on their hunts just by how affective they are.
I honestly hope maybe for a skin for Predator (like Isabelle) FT members can get Predlocks on their uniform to show how experienced they are.
I highly suggest to drop dithered lens for down range.
You need that damage buff against premades, it could make the difference between a downed FT or a wounded FT. Especially considering your playstyle which is based on frequent ranged harassment.
Believe me, being both an experienced pred player and a PC âdeathsquadâ , I can guarantee that no premade fears dithered lens, but downrange is what makes the difference. Try it.
Just my two cents.
Yes, they should have a Dutch.
What do you think their goal is? Do they in a sense accept the hunt tradition of the preds or do they try to discourage it?
I feel like using the plasma caster without dithered lens makes it easier for fireteams to spot me but I guess I have to get better at hiding the laser.
Thanks for the tips, Iâll practice different builds without dithered lens.
Iâve managed to beat a lot of good teams with the current build I have, thatâs why Iâm not that eager to change it. There are teams that my build doesnât work on and those are the teams that I probably need to use down range on.
I think they donât care, itâs more so a fight for survival and superiority then about traditions. I think we as humans and the team of Dutch or any other in the PHGâs universe can give a damn about tradition. Their at war so yeah, then again if itâs a 1v1 the honor code might just stand just from seeing other FT including The Melon squad members fight with only a knife during a 1v1.
Ok. This is sensitive information, but was @JimHarbaughWQLVE one of the preds killed by the Melon Squad or did he barely escape with his predlocks in tact. Answer wisely đ
I also recommend you switch to downrange.
believe me: sweaty premades will spot you always, everywhere, no matter what⌠to the point that dithered lens is more a hindrance than a perk at high level of play (because of the cost)
The best predatory equipment and options to be hard to notice ???
Seconded. Lense is fun against potatoes, not worth it for real teams
