You should really turn off music. It helps with detecting the predator by sound. Also if he jumps on you pull out the knife and do heavy attacks, if you get a parry go into a quick attack then heavy again. Also don’t move back, move left or right, the predator will pass you and move forward, try to get on his back. If you keep moving backwards you are in a perfect line for him to keep attacking, its even worse if he does heavy attacks. If he would’ve used the scythe instead of a katana, oh boy!

But I find it kinda cringe that people are so determined to win that they turn off the music
I like the music but its such a detriment that I can’t justify it. I have some very good headsets. It helps a LOT with detecting traps as well as pinpointing the predator. If he moves around me I can instantly know where he is (the general area).
That’s the issue with headsets
There are only 2 speakers that output all the sounds

Also I got a pretty got 5.1 system with the satellites spread around me, the headsets are better. Turning off the music makes the other sounds pop clearly.

Well as I said, I have a 5.1 system and I prefer the headphones. They do a better job at it. That said a normal suround sound also works fine, but, as I said, I would turn off the music so you can hear what’s going on better.
