I know, I know…but after watching Sam’s videos and comparing stats, she’s like a less stronger Wolf that can carry bear traps, and that was very appealing. Plus I love her design. Illfonic can have money when they make good Preds, and she’s one of them, unlike the last few which I will never own.
Gonna go with all of the above. Cases like this make me echo Jelou’s statement yesterday about how this game attracts the most mental people for some weird reason.

And I know it did, I did it on purpose. You can clearly tell I was not playing serious. If I really wanted to go full send I would have ran with Wolf and been far more aggressive and not let them reinforce if they got that far. Its why I openly challenged him, not out of ego but because I know his skill level compared to mine, I can come back after a week’s break and absolutely dick around with a class I’m not used to and still pull off a victory. And personally this squashes the drama for me, anything further will be on him.

Oh me too, believe me. I’d love Tracker, a Lost Tribe from Predator 2 pack, Scarface, Serpent Hunter…any ACTUAL Predators from the lore. Like I’ve said, Illfonic has so many to choose from, look at all the unique Preds NECA made figures of. Exalted is the best cosplay Pred in terms of design, Amazon in stats, but that’s only two out of how many so far that are actually usable in competitive play? Its sad that they can’t do more with this huge pool of Preds from actual media. Like I know for a fact an accurately modeled Scarface at least would give them easy money.
Speaking of I just realized something…Illfonic doesn’t really make a lot of money on dlcs. What do you think the rough number is of the current overall playerbase? 200? 300? Let’s say 300; even if all 300 players bought Exalted, they’d only be making $1500 in sales. That is barely a penny compared to games like Fortnite and COD. And its so, so much less when you factor in the players that don’t or won’t buy the DLC. I’d bet Illfonic barely cracked $1k in sales for Gladiator, Anubis, etc. Herein lies a flaw in their explanation as to why they aren’t doing FT DLCs, because I can’t see a scenario where making at the very least Dutch 87 available to current gen players won’t net them considerable profits in the long run. EVERYONE wants Dutch. I promise you in a room of 100 people, all 100 would rather pay $5 for an iconic character from the actual movie over a fucking Predator dressed as a gladiator. So Illfonic can’t come in and say they aren’t doing FT DLC because its not profitable, when they know it would be exponentially profitable, especially in comparison to the abysmal sales of their latest Preds.

For a shitty cash-grab company, they’re not very good at it & they don’t go about it in a particularly smart way either.
If they just want to sell Predator DLCs because they can’t afford the rights to Dutch etc. Anymore & Predator DLCs allegedly make them more money, they should just make Predators from the actual movies or other video games, or comics. Predators that are pre-existing, that already have an established lore & fanbase in the community. Ultimately, nobody really gives a shit about their cosplay Predators. They probably know this already, but they are just too lazy to do anything about getting Predators into the game that are legitimately sought-after & wanted.
You can tell people actually want movie Predators more & they are way more popular than the cosplay Predators because of how often you see the different classes when playing public matches as Fireteam. It’s particularly noticeable when you talk about their latest DLCs this year:
You almost never see any Gladiators, Anubis & I’m pretty sure I’ve only seen 1 Exalted Predator since her release. Meanwhile, you see Feral Predators every other match. What’s the difference? Feral is the only Predator of that bunch from the movies.
Same goes for the other DLC classes too. The most common DLC Predator class you’ll probably run into in my experience is Scar, with the likes of Wolf & Amazon (only common cosplay Predator) not too far behind. Pretty much all the other movie Predators are fairly common too. Meanwhile, you almost never see the likes of Samurai, Viking, Valkyrie, Pirate, Emissary etc.
Overall the most common classes you run into in publics are Hunter, Feral, Scout & Berserker though.
Hence everyone will pretty much forever be sitting here saying they want the likes of Tracker and/or Fugitive every time they release another cosplay Predator DLC.
They either just don’t get it, or they just don’t care. Potentially a case of both.
Your forgetting that they might actually attract new players with those dlcs and likely kids are picky with that stuff . Without getting into specifics the base game is a lot more expensive and profitable. At this rate the wait times non existent which means it’s healthy
And I think the issue might be them announcing development on a sequel until the next movie comes out.
