They stopped listening five years ago.
When we, let’s say, had a collaboration, they did listen, they did asked and they did fix bugs and exploits, what they could that is.
At some point they just went silent. Zero responses on my messages, emails etc, it’s like they just moved on. Which is fine, but they left the game in a horrible state.
Not only that but all the bugs I helped them fix came back in later patches and they still remain.
In August this year I had a back and forward conversation with one of them. I was asked to report my findings on active bugs and exploits that are in current version of the game.
I didn’t, because I had more important things to do than compile the list of bugs and exploits for people who aren’t even going to read it.
Unlike Illfonic, I value my time.

The damn super fanatic I reported a day after the psn community made it to samhain and we discovered it within hours. They patched it, when? a year later? and I’m pretty sure they didn’t really patched and it just so happened that luckily for them it didn’t carry over the version upgrade
you are talking with someone who works Q&A with developers. Let’s just say I have the utmost respect for some devs, and a pretty lack of trust for most.
It took them two years to fix one shot bug with the axe.
There was a bug with buying DLC’s also, if you remember. You would buy a DLC but the DLC, even though you bought it, would be still locked for you.
This went on for weeks, people complained, reported it and Illfonic did nothing.
Then I wrote an email to Epic Games and Illfonic fixed it in the same week. So they do listen when someone bigger than us comes knocking on their doors.

And that has ALWAYS been possible since launch. People would disable all of the foilage and shit, make it look like a fucking GameBoy game, and then snipe the Predator player from across the map…this is old information that we have been aware of since the beginning of this love/hate Stockholm Syndrome relationship with this game/illfonic.
We just TRUST each other to not resort to such savagery, play like professionals and show respect to each other.
