Well they don’t use macros as far as I’m aware. He just used it as an excuse to use them himself. He also said all PC players use them.

Eh I would disagree with that being the case for such a large number of them but it’s not like I’ve really watched everyone like hawks to confirm or deny the sentiment.
I was referring to the old players, not the casual ones. Like approx 20-25 players that I know from 2020. There are multiple videos showing it. Also most of the PS players that moved to PC were happy to start using them. I could name people but don’t want to raise anymore drama.
basic macros or other software that 90% of PC players (that I know) use: FT: quick-fire pistol, quick release from net gun; As Pred: hi DPI disk, all the quick weapon change macros for devastiting combos like: combi+arrow, combi+plasma gun, etc
One of them (video proof) recently was even able to macro the new pred weapon (whip), to avoid pred animation and release devastating whip+plasma gun combo
Ah alr, and yeah plenty of people who moved from PS to PC started using macros. I could name at least 2 people for certain.
You don’t need macros for all of those things, like the Combi Throw + Arrow shot is quite simple to do just on a PS4 or PS5 controller as long as you’ve customised your controls slightly. But, I can name at least 1 person who blatantly uses macros to essentially throw the Combistick, shoot the Plasma Pistol & shoot a Plasma Caster shot at pretty much the same time.
It’s also possible to cancel the Chain Whip animation normally on PS by swapping to the Plasma Pistol during the animation but it’s nowhere near as consistent as e.g. the Combi + Arrow combo.

The thing that amazes me the most, however, is that despite it being very obvious and there being irrefutable evidence, these people continue to deny it to the bitter end.
Prior to version 3.0, and maybe earlier (I may be wrong), abrupt weapon switching worked without the “quick hands” perk. Now it is not possible to quickly change weapons, for example, with a combistick, without a perk, the predator takes out a spear and puts it back, only with a perk does a quick switch of weapons work. Perhaps with a macro, but I haven’t tested it, and I’m not interested either.
Of the above, in the settings of control for the squad, a separate button is set up, which is responsible for the action of releasing the predator from the net, this is the scroll of the mouse to itself. Well, and DPI 15,000 changes for disk management.
I also have changed and installed separate buttons on the equipment for convenience, for example, a syringe with a separate button on the mouse. But I don’t have macro settings for rapid-fire, combistick+shooting throw. That is, I don’t have one button that does 2 actions or a macro.

lol people still believe that, its pathetic really, people just cant admit others are better at something than them and need to make up excuses of using something to assist like that.
I do find it cute though that people started using macros to try to replicate what thunder and me did naturally.
Reality check for the phg crybabies, be either from hard work or genetics we arent all equal. But they cant accept reality, inferiority is one heavy burder to have, and its high on phg players

I’m really tired of going over this with you Mojo, it’s really impractical to use macros for weapon sequences and most of these shitheads aren’t even capable of doing anything but single inputs sometimes or possibly best case scenario they record a sequence by hand and trim down the delays
Maybe if you played pred more and didn’t try to avoid criticism when we try to bring these topics up it wouldn’t be brought up years later
