200 ms is exactly the time it takes for a person to notice something. Hitting that gap target over and over again, again, is unlikely. Anyway, I’ll upload the match later. Was a good one either way. Got you and thunderwolf before the reinforce and copter.
Post YOUR videos!
Also is it true that Oni cloaked can be seen across the map?
It’s better to post all the matches.
You’re the one who said it would be impossible to beat you 4. I came pretty damn close.
The real reason is my internet is rather slow atm, and can only do a few a night.
Avoid leaping as much as you can, cause you’re an easy shot when you fly mid air.
Instead sprint and zig-zag while sprinting, use objects as cover.
Also avoid climbing, instead jump on the branches.
Feral yes, Oni, I don’t think that’s the case but I haven’t tested it yet.
I’ve noticed that haha. I try to run/crouch instead of leaping, but sometimes you just have to.
I did confirm they could not see me when fully invisible on both oni and exiled. Saw them running past me a number of times.
Sprint behind the object (tree for example) and then leap. You’ll have that tree as cover and you’ll force the sniper to reposition, but by the time the sniper does that, you’ll be long gone.
Good tip. I try that, plus changing the direction of the leap to be perpendicular, so they shouldn’t have a good shot. Unfortunately they seem to have perfect aim no matter what. The best way to avoid their shots is to run, and zig zag towards cover. Get a little away, and then stand still where you aren’t bleeding from. They’re 50% weaker when you have the high ground, and even more weaker when they split up. They hunt by audio predominantly. They shoot by vision.
If the tree is behind you, leap forward so you don’t get shot in the back, if you leap left or right, you’ll lose your cover and you’ll be, again, a free shot in mid air.
Nobody has a perfect aim, you just played against 4 players who can actually aim and land most of their shots.
If you took damage, you’ll bleed and standing still, there’s gonna be blood there and they’ll just shoot where the blood is.
Audio is your worst enemy.
Sidestepping from a place where you recently bled from, seems to work. They don’t seem to hunt by blood as much. Just stay out of the trees. Good point about the tree though.
I think I’m going to get rid of the disc, and opt for the bow. It’s quieter for sure, at least for the first shot. They hear the disc and spam demolition where it came from. Not enough distance on the disc to hunt from afar.
Yeah that does work, just don’t stand in your own pool of blood.
Disc gameplay requires practice (positioning and flying the disc) and high sensitivity for the disc.
Disc like you said, isn’t for gameplay from afar.
Plasma caster is.
Also charging the bow can be heard, quick shots nope.
If you need tips, just DM me so we don’t spam the thread.
Appreciate it. The only thing holding me back is that 1 shot which takes 3/4 of my health down. That’s the big one. Everything else I can live with. Sometimes it’s 3/4, sometimes it’s 1/2, but it’s always just a single shot in the back. Either way it’s way more than I’ve ever experienced before, aside from those who use bugs and glitches. I’m pretty darn sure it is one.
Do you have a recording of your gameplay where you took that damage?
If you do, send me the link.
Yeah I’ll upload it when I sleep, so I can still play right now. I’m interested to hear what else you have to say regarding predator too. Thanks!
Sure thing.
Anytime.
You were close because in every match I was kicked out of the lobby 4 minutes after the match started. I really think you’ll never win.
I killed you and thunderwolf within 1 min of each other. The rest of the time you guys rushed for the heli by 3 minutes in, forcing me to come closer and detonate upon you, killing your men several times. While you shot me in the back with a rifle that somehow takes away 3/4 of my health.
I’ll get smarter, but you can’t increase that damage anymore.
I’ll show you what sort of damage we’re looking at, with my ping, with the video tomorrow. It’s crazy. We all seem to have stable pings (~200ms) even though it’s rather large. If we can’t have a good match without good pings, how will we know?
I beat craftsman’s team the first day we played. He beat me the other time. It was a snowstorm and whoever hosted had it a little better.
Oops. I looked back. I killed prozi first, then a few minutes passed, then I killed thunderwolf, and then downed another. They nearly died too, but he was saved quickly. No wonder you rushed the heli after that. I nearly won against you all haha.
