Yeah the Oni has a lot of bugs to it. I’d recommend to stay away from it until the devs are aware of the issue, and the patches are made. Might have to email them about it though.

It is far easier to find the pred through audio, since the pred is loud AF and there’s a million visual cues that give away its postition, like branches swinging and leaves falling. Once you play FT all this becomes aparent.
Against good pred players, finding the predator is not the issue, but rather dodging their attacks.
That sucks! I’ve never faced an Oni with a bow before that match so I wasn’t aware/noticed it before…I feel dumb for leaving now but I wanted to play it safe.

I have been exclusively playing as FT for a bit now. When playing as pred against prozi and his team, I used discipline classes so they couldn’t hear me, didn’t use heat vision, stayed out the trees, stayed away from proximity mines, etc. They still spotted me when I was far away, and from behind cover with none of them in LOS. That’s how I knew for sure they were using cheats. That’s also just one of the many exploits and bugs they used. They basically compound every cheat they can think of, into a single game, and call it skill; which it isn’t.
I suspect their only means of making money is through streams, so they do it as much as they can. Luckily I haven’t met another team who does such things in this game.

You should reverse that. Like pdls are probably the worst weapon you can use, they have no objective fuction. You can spot manually, Preds with a fair amount of skill will ignore them and some will just destroy them. The spotting also works when your teammates can actually aim at a spotted, moving target; most can’t.

I spot manually, and I spot with PDL. I don’t use PDL for my team; that’s just a bonus. If they can’t hit their shots with the pred spotted, they sure as heck won’t hit their shots without the pred spotted.
It’s like a defensive net to know where the pred is around you always. Paired with ammo, you get like 27 proximity mines, which is insane. Also my eyesight isn’t the greatest.
