Syn, try to see this from an outside perspective. A lot of us have been playing for years, we’ve seen hacks, exploits, cheats, bugs, the works.
Most of us have played with each other extensively.
Then, 5 years after release, a newbie comes in, claims he has beaten/ can beat/will beat some of the better players around.
Said new guy also says he’s totally in communication with the devs and they’re gunna fix everything (despite us having gone through this multiple times with said devs to NO RESULT).
THEN this guy says he totally has proof of the cheats and ‘it’s gunna get fixed.’
I like the passion, I do. But…

And all We’ve gotten to show for it is pred dlc and stupid shit like ‘the border of the text box has been adjusted’ and ‘the pred seemed too whatever so we nerfed stuff and buffed the ft’.

Atm the knife glitch has been patched, and numerous other issues are in the works.
It’s best not to think of me as a newbie, even though I’m relatively new to this game.

Tbf this is a far more game-breaking bug than the knife glitch could ever be, and it effects ALL platforms. Anyone on any platform can see the predator 100% when it’s cloaked; like a glistening black shadow. It also doesn’t show up in recordings, unless you physically put your camera on your screen. It’s also not an easy bug to fix. I’m not sure if illfonic has the resources to revamp its entire cloaking on this game. If it were my game, I’d like to think I’d fix it, but who knows.
Give yourselves some credit. If you didn’t talk with illfonic and bring up those issues, they wouldn’t be fixed. I don’t have some red phone which connects directly to the illfonic devs. I just write to them every detail which can help them replicate the bugs, etc. with video proof, suggestions for a fix, and they do their magic. Can happen for anyone who treats them kindly.

It’s even worse when you’re scoped in. You can see the cloaked predator with ZERO issue, even from across the map (sound familiar??). I’ll try to get a video of that too. For night time matches, it can be even worse. I’m sure I could get the entire predator to show up even more with additional tweaking, but this is bad enough. Keep in mind, this effects every predator. Every. Single. One.
@Prozi_Judge @CraFTSmaN_YT and the others have been duping you folks at every step of the way. I’d be pissed too if I just learned the “best players” in the game, are nothing but cheats.

I’ve watched and played with both crafty and beer and their teams. I’ve seen their screens. I’ve been lit up by them, I’ve survived matches vs them, and I may have even won once. (Once 😞)

I play on one computer, and stream from the second computer! On the stream, you see the entire screen, everything I see is what my viewers see.
Are you surprised that a predator can see the entire map? Don’t look at your feet, but look into the distance, and you can too.
Hold up. Let me fact check you. I know all of your money comes from donations off of streams, so let’s get this right.
Yeah, it wouldn’t show on your streams whether or not you’re using this bug, with your current setup. You’d have to use a separate camera and put it behind your chair, facing you and the screen.
Like on the bottom right, you show your hands and keyboard, but NOT the screen itself.
All you’d have to do is move that camera up, so instead of facing the keyboard, it faces your monitor/tv.
I did try to explain this to him. And explain that Peach sometimes streams handcams too, so any ‘hackusations’ are misguided at best and pure slanderous at worst… Like, how many different ways must people on here have to explain some very simple, and obvious, truths.
Show us where these people are using exploits and hacks. If I see evidence, then I will admit that I was wrong and denounce whoever it is. But UNTIL I see evidence of these ‘cheats’ then I don’t want to hear anything other than an apology. Not to me, but to them. Because slanderous nonsense like that can be believed by those who are new around here, and good players deserve the respect that their skills have earned them.
