Well after watching that it makes a lot more sense as to how you were able to win.

You guys ever get a game where you can’t select any weapon?
The only thing available was plasma caster and the knife throughout the entire match. Couldn’t even use targeting.

Samurai!! Hell yeah! Truly, a skilled Yautja player will be able to use this underappreciated Class and achieve victory! I do have one question though, why Fervent? Once you down a single Fireteam player then isn’t it null and void. It says all 4 must be standing?

playing vs them, fervent is a necessity lol

All four must be alive for Fervent to be active, yes. The trick is to not kill any of them right away, but to keep constant pressure and inflict that damage to multiple people with multiple downs and revives. That way once you do kill one and the spec deactivates, the other three are super weak with no heals.

Anyone remember when Fervent was bugged and never deactivated? That was a good time.

Ah, clever girl! (Jurassic Park quote before Mass has a spaz attack lol)

There have been so many OP bugs in this game it’s kind of a blur lol

So what about these FTs running around with Scout Duelist and no pistols? Is that bugged atm or are they just bots?

They’re braindead and don’t know how to read.

That’s what I thought lmao

No. The best use of Fervent is using it to help you secure that first kill. It can be useful the other way sure but there’s no point changing the most optimal way of play which is to get one kill as fast as possible.

Getting the first kill is always the most important one because it almost always sets off a domino effect of fast downs afterwards.

There’s no point trying to whittle down resources in that way because if the Fireteam are actually playing seriously (which they weren’t in the video) they will bring more than enough ammo bags & medkits, and you will just be getting pushed away every time without being able to do much when they are landing sniper shots constantly while progressing the mission after you get pushed away to heal.

True, true.

Sshh!! You’re revealing Frosties Secret Formula!!

I bet Pirate Predator wouldn’t even fuck with this! Great Whites are the universes way of telling sapiens that they do not belong there. Take a shot of whiskey for every time you think “Well, that was a mistake!”.

I mean she quite literally wears a shark jaw on her chest armor:

That’s what it’s about. The domino.

That being said I never found it a useful spec. It’s easy to down and kill the first person. It’s the other 3-6 you have to worry about. They’re survivors.

Its not the best, but it’s alright. It’s like having Stalker or Analytic but only while all 4 Fireteam members are standing. It helps get the first kill, which is the most important one, so its not bad. It can be useful, but it’s definitely not the best. Stalker, Analytic & Assassin are all better.

If you’re playing against actual high tier Fireteams then no it’s not necessarily easy to get the first kill. Especially not if they make it to a camp before you can reach them at the start. Against potatoes in publics every kill is easy & anything will work.

That’s true. Against actual good teams, I like to use the smart disc to down and kill one person with a single throw, or to hit all 4 of them at least once with 1 shot (hopefully). Around then I’ll go in with ghost, repeatedly cloaking to get the 30% damage boost until around they parry. Then I’ll throw the combi stick and finish off with throws while dancing around them. Only takes 2 throws on a downed person, with down range.

Though discipline is a great one if you know how to be stealthy otherwise. Brute is good if you’re going up against knifers. They all have a decent side.

You are better off just going for downs & securing kills. If you can get another down with the Disc by all means go for it but the priority should be finishing off the person you downed. Against a legitimately good team you won’t have time to keep throwing your Disc from the same place. Especially not if your positioning is bad. They will just find you & cancel your Disc. Using the Combistick for melee is not reliable against good players unless you are in a 1v1 & even then you need to use it right. If you try to use melee with the Combistick against 4 good players while they are all still standing, your health bar is getting deleted. Idk who you’ve been playing against but the moment you get parried, you should be as good as dead, so I very highly doubt these people knew what they were doing.

There is no point in using Disciplined. All the classes that have Disciplined have better Specialisations that are actually meta. Bionic has Stalker, Oni has Assassin, Scout has Analytic, Exiled has Analytic, etc. Plus the moment you run into good players they are going to take one look at the scoreboard, see you have Disciplined, and know you’re not going to be making any clicking noises. You can track the Predator easily with other sounds & visual indicators anyway. Disciplined sounds good on paper but in practice it’s only going to help against potatoes or less knowledgeable players.

Brute is shit. It’s one of the most useless Specialisations in the game. You never want to get parried once. A Specialisation that requires you to get parried (which will cause you to get melted) just to get value from it is simply not worth it & that’s being generous.

True. After each throw you should move to a new position. That’s what I do.

Also true. But if you know when they’re about to parry, then you can throw the combi and down them. Don’t proceed with the attack that most likely will be parried. If it doesn’t down them, sidestep them, grab the spear and reassess.

As predator, we should already know this. There are ways around making sounds, or confusing them with sound.

If it’s 1v1 or 1v2 battle, I don’t mind it. So long as they’re firing bullets and not spamming knives. You just jump up once, and then poof you’re somewhere else entirely. Mislead spotted movements. Have good movement speed and jumping. When jumping, repeatedly press couch and and then uncrouch throughout the jump. It changes the hitbox and your velocity (harder for snipers to predict movement).
