When I watched back the footage of our match I slowed it down right after I entered the room and yall went into action like seal team 6 on that door way Dx I was like holy shit, that’s QUICK.

Nononono, we are NOT referring to low mercy as a death squad. That fucking title is earned and they’re no where near it. They’re a premade with casual vibes, definitely not a death squad
I would say it depends on who’s teamed up with each other. If the better players are all in a squad then it gets fun. Ofc some players are better than others.
No offense friend, cuz I know you’re new to them so this doesn’t really apply to you, but Savage and some of his other regulars are some absolutely toxic people. Several of us have had dealings with him some months ago and while he seems “chill vibes 420”, he has a deplorable personality towards some players and is incredibly demeaning. Ask @Anonymous.Voorhees13, in particular. His playstyle is also toxic, luring potato Preds onto a roof just to knife rush with meta builds (honestly knife rushing in general) and killing them in seconds or sitting back and (poorly) sniping while his friends do all the work. He also has a seriously inflated ego and believes he’s better and has accomplished more than he actually has. Bro has a nasty history, hence why were wondering why you’d want to associate with someone like him.

It does not. I can accept you guys are competent as a group but yall are definitely not a death squad. Keep improving and it won’t take much to get there though. Not trying to be an ass here, though I probably sound like it.

Disk, low mercy is one of the first death squads. I get most people don’t like them but in reality nobody likes fighting death squads. It’s not fun on the predators side. Now most death squads today are mostly pc especially with tabatus squad or Sam’s. But that’s what a death squad is, is meta builds that are specifically designed to min max the predators death as efficiently as possible. I was there when the first death squads came to be in the game. I remember the tournament attempts and the mask taking videos. Back then I was only one of a few who stayed for EVERY queue and fought every death squad. But from what I remember was that low mercy was one of the og’s in death squading. I get everyone has their opinions but I’m pragmatic that’s all.

Death squads are called death squads bc they’re good. That doesn’t apply to low mercy OR tabatu
Not every “Death Squad” you come across in this game is actually worthy of the title.
Anyone can be a “Death Squad” by running Dutch/Dante/Support teams & spamming explosives, mashing knife exploit, camping inside or on top of buildings with PDLs & Miniguns, and abusing overpowered specialisations like Leader & Field Medic, while killing random Hunter Fervents with about 5 hours of playtime.
The moment those types of “Death Squads” step into the jungle with someone like me though, it’s a whole different story. They rarely last 2-4 minutes, and they’re the ones raging accusing me of “spamming” or “hacking” or “being a p■ssy” or “aimbotting” or quite literally anything.
The last time I was in a lobby with the low mercy team, they quite literally refused to play me. You can ask @Madisyn_Skye for the clip from their stream.

The tournament if you can even call it that was a shitshow, basically modern day optimized predator and fireteam are almost not even comparable to players of old unless they have adapted, not only with “meta” but fine detail nuances and findings that go beyond meta itself
Players from 2020 and early 2021 quite literally turned into something different late 2021 and 2022, 2023 and possibly the only real thing to note was hints of early extremism within some players as they quite literally are not built the same
The word meta is overblown too because too many say the word meta and do nothing even close like put smokes with thermals or like ghostwithaknife said his class was meta with a CS12

I remember haha, I was one of the main advocates against it because I knew even though the game had a decent skill ceiling it was not properly fully balanced and had to many bugs and inconsistent frames.
For me what I consider a death squad is a good team that has a full meta set that is good enough to kill any pred mid or up fairly easy. I don’t consider rankings or levels because even though the skill ceiling is high it is not consistent enough to measure competitive plays like with dark souls pvp tech avp 2010 predator combat tech and so forth. It’s the entire reason I shit on the tournament ideas back in 2020.
Like with dark souls genuine skill was diving a wog spam, into a pivot parry cancel and a full armor weapon and double ring swap in the parry frames. THAT was a skill ceiling, and it was consistent. Not ds3 or elden ring with omnidirectional movement, I mean old dark souls or ds remastered pvp. That’s one of the few games I only ever considered fully chessable with elo.
This ain’t no bitch fit, sadboy. I’ll just call it how I see it - you rage quit, and I’m done with your weak excuses. If you actually stuck around for reinforcements, I very likely would’ve given you the benefit of the doubt, but I can’t do that for you, and possibly ever. After all the shitty comments from a previous matches of you falsely accusing me of “panicking”, I have to prove you wrong once again, this time with some actual footage, and I got more than I asked for out of this. Just stop trolling, cuz you can’t back it up with me.
Granted, I’m kinda new with the hammerhead, and my hipfire needs a bit of work, but out-surviving the rest of y’all against a decent sweat with 4.8k Pred damage, while other randoms didn’t come close ain’t half-bad at all.
