Without a doubt FairYautja has valid concerns about subjects that represent a large portion if not all players through their course of learning the game however, being a loaded revolver around these subjects doesn’t allow responses, constructive criticism, and additional information to be absorbed creating a one way mirror to which many others can see inside the room of the topics being discussed whilst FairYautja remains yelling at his own reflection
But yeah, he could probably do better with the whole emotional tirades, It’s honestly impressive how he’s still this hostile after so long when many have chilled way out by now

Ah, now we’re getting somewhere. The game turns on aim assist as soon as it detects a controller. After that, you can use the keyboard to move and the mouse to aim—and aim assist still kicks in. It doesn’t turn off.
You either don’t understand what aim assist is, or you’re pretending not to. Either way, here’s a reality check:
Aim assist is not some big, flashy magnet that yanks your crosshair like a cartoon. It’s subtle. It slows down your aim over targets, slightly sticks to them, and helps track during fast movement—especially noticeable when ADSing. That’s what all the videos clearly show, including the one I linked. No Cronus required. It’s built into the game for controllers.
But hey, do whatever makes you feel better. It’s basically a tradition in this game to deny any form of dishonesty. Apparently, this is the one magical online shooter where nobody ever cheats. No macros, no exploits, no game mechanics abuse—just pure, wholesome integrity all around.
Honestly, the mental gymnastics some people do to protect their fragile ego is impressive.
Time for me to buy a PC.
Great decision—and hey, you’ll even save a few bucks since you already have a controller. Once you ascend to PC aim god status, you can look back and laugh at the controller potatoes.
Tax for that? Please. Try dropping the cost of four PlayStations every two years just to keep up. It’s not optional unless you’re okay being the punchline of every match, getting roasted by the PC elite for showing up with potato-tier hardware.

So… No. First off you have no actual testing for Predator: Hunting Grounds to reference, you said some shit, basically didn’t try to do it yourself, again, and yet you make jabs at others with said botched information
This is not even true for older patches of the game let alone current patch
So to be a little more constructive somewhat since the subject is rather overblown and was of concern in early years in Predator: Hunting Grounds history

Controller being plugged in does not directly give aim assist while on PC

Having a controller be plugged in context to usage of controller input such as ‘Aim’ or ‘Move’ can trigger aim assist while on PC (Obviously using purely controller as well)

In the current patch of the game hybrid usage of both keyboard/mouse + controller creates functionality issues but when in comparison to previous versions it would seem the opposite to which synergetic usage was much more obtainable on PC in patch 2.50 and below
Additionally, I was even looking to confirm if the game even needed to see a controller at all to have controller inputs work, sending a controller input to the game might not even require a controller to be present whatsoever… never got around to fucking with that though, just more illfonic coding jank I wanted to see if it would work

Fucking SERIOUSLY. The auto aim for both sides is infuriating when youre trying to actually aim at your opponent. I’ve had it auto track to pigs as pred, and most commonly AI as ft. Like ill knife swing at one while running and passing by and it’ll auto lock and turn my fucking camera back towards it.

After watching the video from BeerWarrior, I went to check the help in aiming,And yes, there is help in aiming, provided that I play with a joystick, but as soon as I take the mouse in my hand, the aim assistance is disabled.
Aim assist It helps to aim in the AI, but it is so difficult for me to play that even with the help of aiming, it is difficult for me to hit the AI.
