What really fucked Star Wars was it’s awful script and plot holes, the characters are atrocious especially ray aka the Mary Sue. They ruined Luke they also making his effort to turn Vader to the light pointless, same with Vader’s sacrifice it all meant nothing.

Mando, Clone Wars Final Season, and Rouge One were the only really good stuff Disney has produced for Star Wars. Solo was decent, and the Sequels are pure garbage.

No Fox (now disney) has always had predator production rights since they were signed off as the producer and distributor, and AvP is its own IP they also own as part of a deal. Fox has never owned the Alien franchise itself. Ridley Scott owns his production company (Scott Free - you know the bird logo) that has the rights to Alien, (Fox) Disney is just the current distributor and the two have to meet an agreement. George sold off LucasArts to Disney for 4 billion dollars and relinquished all creative control he had over the franchise so Disney is now the producer and distributor of everything star wars, without any kind of agreements or sign offs anymore. Disney is only a distributor for Alien so Scott can still walk and go make a deal with Warner or whoever, and I doubt Scott would sell out his production rights for blade runner, alien, gladiator etc ever and he seems to be on a roll with what he wants to do with Alien atm.

Also I really don’t like the direction Ridley Scott is going with Alien. Still have a bad taste in my mouth from Prometheus. At least Alien Covenant Did “some” things right

Same reason he signed off on the AvP comic deal. He doesnt gaf about comics/games. Didn’t care about the movies for awhile either, just free money. Only after his brother died was he interested in getting back into the franchise.

Both sucked lol but its his IP.

In short, Scott Free is for Television and Movies.
Think LucasArts vs LucasFilm.

I liked Prometheus, and Covenant.
