Actually yes they did as Dutch is part of the new story. They don’t have to include Billy/Blaine, Dillion Hawkins Poncho, etc unless its there for cosmetics, for homage.
There is no need for them, but it will generally get the fanbase going crazy! I know based on interviews, nobody signed up for it ahead of the release. The only persons who did were Busey’s kid and Arnold. But you never know with actors. They can usually be interested if everyone else is.
Predator 87 needs to be made available to the public.
The dutch tapes were free. You didn’t need to buy them. And when you bought the dlc it was stated numerous times that the gun and knife were early access not exclusive. Only dutch is exclusive to the dlc permanently.
For the pre order you got the 87 class exclusive and early access to the minigun and the ol painless skin, while the rest of the players had to level up to unlock the minigun. The only thing I’m not sure about is if they claimed the 87 mask was exclusive or not.
Hi, yeah. Its its own class with its own stats. Stats identical to the Hunter. Its just a hunter skin they made its own class for some reason. At least dutch had unique stats.
You’re correct from what we can see. If they actually are the same stats that is.
Suppressors on weapons actually decrease damage done but it doesn’t show that on the stat page when you’re customising the weapon itself. So i’d take stats with a pinch of salt.

By all means refund the game if you want to. Entitlement is the fact that you think the 87’ skin/class puts you above others who also want to play as the classic predator but sadly cannot due to it being a pre-order item. This company has seen many problems with their previous games being locked behind certain aspects, you have to remember this is a class with actual stats and not just a re-skin.
But as with ‘most’ people that pre-ordered it seems just a handful of those are the toxic ones (thankfully), which in turn will make it even sweeter down the line when it eventually get released to the ones that missed out on the pre-order.
It’s simple math really. A few thousand probably pre-ordered it, a few hundred probably returned it day one and got their money back. A few thousand purchased after it was released and missed the pre-order goodies. They release the DLC to the few thousand that want the DLC and slap a $10+ price tag on it to get a few more sales. This isn’t in the ‘law’ of video-gaming that because you pre-ordered and it said ‘exclusive’ that they can never release it, gacha games have a law that prohibits rigging numbers and in Japan they require them to put the actual rates of pulls in their info (I think it’s becoming a popular ‘rule’ or ‘law’ in the Western world now), exclusive doesn’t mean forever in the gaming industry.
It’s going to happen wether you protest it or not. But as a handful of you will say “No, my entitlement!” Or “I supported this game! I pre-ordered it a month before it came out!”, even though this game has been in development since 2019.
TL:DR, it will eventually come out to the rest of the player base due to sales advantages, like it or not.

well once you take on the franchise name, all characters etc should be included. Therefore anyone that was in the movies etc can be used.
I myself want to “relive” this franchise as a whole… not just made up stuff.
I would like to see Poncho and the others live… for instance.
The Savini Jason skin was not just a skin. It has its own build which by large is considered the overall strongest. Just FYI

Ah thank you! I’ve scoured Reddit over the past year or so and saw people were complaining it was ‘just a skin’ so I stand corrected!
Edit: I never played FT13, but i’ve only heard bad things sadly

Tests have been done, after the patch that fixed its bugs, it’s just a hunter skin.
Well I personally take stats with a pinch of salt. I shall stick to my original point that it will come out for everyone, sooner rather than later for the companies sales targets.
I’m not talking about number i’m talking about playing the game, using a timer, counting damage, etc.
The '87 Jungle skin was a pre order “exclusive” if they made it avaialbe in a later date the word exclusive will bare no value anymore.
In F13 illfonic did the same for the Tom Savini Jason skin and is still not available to this day, and it wasn’t just a skin it was it’s own class.
Just a lil history of how illfonic does exclusive DLC content. So most likely they won’t make the '87 skin available imo.
But we’ll just have to wait and see.

We shall have to wait and see! Japan currently has the highest sales at just under 10,000 (bought after release). When they eventually release the 87’ class/skin they will most certainly see another spike in potential sales and profit.

A game called Predator: Hunting Grounds comes out and the focus is to use everything from the franchise… Everything!
Then the game focuses on the words “Hunting Grounds” in their title and create multiple maps and missions.
lets start from the beginning with Predator 1987 movie… we have a map, mission and characters (DUTCH’ BROTHER COME ON!) already. So that is what we put in game… check!
Now we use Predator 2… we base our map and missions from it and we use all the characters Harrigan, Danny boy, Lone Ranger, Leona (couldve had a miscarriage and wants to seek revenge), Peter, Garber, etc. etc…
Now we get into the fun stuff… the books and comics… ho ly cow!
Predator Omnibus!
Concrete Jungle… missions, maps, characters… check
Cold War… mission maps, characters… check
you get my drift, one story id especially like to see made into a mission from the omnibus’ would be OMNIBUS #4 Story called CAPTIVE. use the story to make maps, missions, mode… and use its characters.

To everyone bitching whom didn’t pre-order, @IllFonic let the community know about the pre-order bonuses for months before launch. They used the word exclusive from the beginning for the Jungle Hunter ‘87 and Day 1 access to the Minigun plus the Ole Painless exclusive skin.
The keyword used here is exclusive which is defined as: restricted or limited to the person, group, or area concerned. Players that took part in that exclusivity did not pay a monetary value for it, but rather were early adopters for the IP’s release and were provided content as a thank you for being early adopters which benefits @IllFonic significantly and will help them in their sales projections and product demand estimates.
To make such exclusive items available to all literally makes said items no longer that, thus breaching a legal and ethical contract the developer has with customers whom were part of that exclusive group. Which then puts the developer into an actionable position by which that exclusive group could seek legal recourse.
The Dutch DLC has never used such language, it’s not exclusive but rather an opportunity for all the player base to buy Dutch’s likeness to play as him in the game — which can be done at any point of time with zero exclusion. Furthermore, early adopters gain early access to both the QR5 Hammerhead rifle and Dutch’s knife that will be added for free to all layer this month.
The exclusive Jungle Hunter ‘87 skin cannot be compared to Dutch‘s addition to the game as a paid DLC. Be thankful the devs provided the ‘87 Bio Mask as a mythical unlock for everyone.

They don’t deserve my gratitude lol. They could’ve done so much more with this game but instead it’s all one big cash grab and micro transactions. This game is getting shittier by the day.
