At the moment there is no reason to argue that predator is way much weaker than fire team. Even from meele range thay can perry you. Range and middle-close range every predatorās weapon sucks a lot in damage and these are even harder to use. Combi stick is the only thing that can allow you to win a match sometimes (when you find 4 bad playerš).
I think the combistick does need a little bit of a nerf but I think the real problem with it that folk are having is the entire team seems to crowd around the predator while theyāre wailing on someone. Iām fairly sure the stick is the only melee weapon that does crowd control damage so if you rush in to try and save your friend youāre getting hit too and making it easier for the predator to 1v4 you. It takes a bit of discipline to trust your aim and maintain your distance.
If combi is nerfed buff itās throw damage to keep it useful.
The only reason itās op is because itās a crowd control weapon it hits everyone near its swing if you back up or Pery itās easy to deal with
If you parry the predator and stay together his spear is useless and heāll be forced to try to pick you off at range or die.
As someone who uses the combi stick itās a 4 hit down minimum never once downed someone in 2 unless they were already really weak
As a pred main and level 100 I can for sure agree with this, it is kinda fuckin stupid that I can run in and kill the whole 4 man team by bum rushing with the combistick, this load out encourages you to not be stealthy and itās basically the pred meta atm, I got so bored of the load out that I have to play hunter or scout just to feel like a pred that uses stealth and this arsenal instead of being the same prick every fireteam encounters with the berserker with combistick, but just because I agree with this doesnāt mean the fireteam is perfect because for fuckin sure they are not lmao oh yeah also it doesnāt 2 shot, letās be realistic here it takes 3-5 hits while the member has full heath and depending on class and perks

Last time I checked FT has access to 2-3 syringes, up to 12 medkits, first aid stations around the map, as well as ammo bags and drops across the mapā¦ with the ability to get revived more than onceā¦and youāre complaining about Predator having some sort of offensive edge with 1 weapon they had to work hard for?

Just used the combistick for the first timeā¦its exactly what Predator needs to counter all the endless meds and ammo with the ability to revive and resurrectā¦ontop of all the LMG and Minigun users that spray into youā¦all the people I performed melee on went down in 4-5 hitsā¦all these people complaining about Predator and the combistick not realizing ONE hes hunting you not vise versaā¦and TWO FT has too many advantages
Iām a pred main and i do use the berserker, but not for the reason you think. Stupidly, heās the only class that has maximum gear. I like using both the bear traps and the audio decoys to kill the fireteam one by one. I do not bum rush in with the combi, tho on occassion i do use it to kill 1 loner. Mainly i throw the combi and it works well.
If a fireteam wants to be stupid and stick close together inside buildings, then they get punsihed with charged plasma. But in the end, i do not use berserker as a melee, only as ranged with a bow.
you can 3 shot if you have the melee damage boost and youre swinging on the merc class with the lowest hp if they arent using defense or HP buff perks
