Predator is garbage
Not gonna lie, using a minigun/lmg under a building is actually one of the best strats for taking an objective now. You don’t have to spot the predator or communicate with your team or spread out or nuthin.
Yes I have notice more use of buildings than before (other then what is required for some objectives), but they still cannot hide in there forever.
Advanced strat :team hides under 2 buildings.
This conversation is so tired. Look, predator has a skill gap whereas FT does not. COD pretty much standardized fps over a decade ago. So I’ve had 13+ years of FT adjacent practice.
Predator is brand new. Hella learning curve. Not even just the firefight aspect. When to engage, when to chase, when to claim. How weapons work, which are preferable, what perks are good for your play style (which is only discovered over time). AWARENESS. Most important you HAVE to know where all 4 FT members are. I lose all the time bc I think I have a 1v1 scenario but I absolutely don’t.
There is a huge skill gap. That’s why we only see really good predators or really bad predators. And lastly, as I’ve expressed before in these forums, getting melted by a good FT feels like bullying. Like it shouldn’t be allowed to happen since you’re an alpha space alien. 1v4 feels like you’re being picked on, just like in f13 when a coordinated team just melees you back and forth like a volleyball. Learn to avoid that. Git gud.

let s say this, the avarage skill is based on how much pc players and ps4 u got…if u play with the predator and u probably will have a match full of pc FT u will die if u dont know what to do and how to play it smart.
when i say smart is called making a strategy and not going ham with combi impen and berzerk.
tbh from all the games that i had with my pred…i lost only one cuz my internet connection got fk up in a sec.
soo yeah…depends a lot on the skill…the perks, the weapons u use and soo on.
if u like to play a call of duty tipe of game…u can go to blizzard and sart downloading their game…cuz here maybe u can check some videos from yt and maybe, “MAYBE” u will learn a thing or two.

I’m not trying to argue about the game with this response.
In regards to your comment about being an alpha space alien, that is not entirely true. Yautja aren’t naturally top notch. They start off as young bloods and get better with experience. Soooooo, if you’re getting melted by a good fireteam, you’re just an inexperienced hunter. And when you fail to set off the bomb and get captured, you’re a disgrace to the hunters. Sorry, I just went total Predator nerd on you. Seriously though. Predators aren’t always good hunters, so a predator player getting slaughtered by a skilled group of armed personnel still fits the Predator universe as representing a failed hunt, like the original movie and Predators.
When choosing buildings. Choose wisely.
That’s kinda exactly what I was trying to express via game mechanics rather than lore, nerd. Haha

I am literally on a 30+ win-streak as pred so I must disagree.

Most of my games as FT go one of these ways.
We get wiped by a high skill pred who we can barely spot and have hardly any chance to aim and do real damage.
A zerker noob who catches us off guard with some public randoms and wipes us.
We get to the exfil with some damage but win.
It’s a low/medium skill pred who makes one bad mistake and we melt him.
About 80% of the time it’s either the first or the last of those options. In other words we punish the hunters who make errors and get duly wiped by the high skill guys. So from my point of view it’s a mix of win/loss. Tonight we lost our first 5 matches then had a long win streak.
I dunno man, today i just wiped out a 4 man PC FT and got the Traditionalist trophy (killing the entire FT using only the wristblades)
The only trophy i really wanted and it took me blood sweat and tears to get.
Oh and some skill and strategy ;)

Get good scrub. If you die that easy im sure I you are one of the Neanderthal players tht think you can just rush in and combi spam to victory. Not going to work anymore you need to change your tactics and maybe also practice in privates with a full team with communication and once you can beat them you should be able to win every pred match

Yeah sure… In a 1v1 against a support class with MLG, he melts down your health and when he’s down you’re most likely down to half the health. Imagine 4 of those… As if that wasn’t enough, if a guy knows how to parry and the rest of the team arrives you’re basically screwed to second wind. So now I am limited to your “tactics” that consists of only ranged or???
And like I said… Netting sucks because after 2 swings the predator just misses him and hits another direction, leaving time for the others to arrive…

You said it use range. Its the way all the Predators in all the movies hunt so why not? Melee is only for when there is only one ft left not when all 4 are with in ear shot. I main hunter and perks are down ranged, dithered lense, and bio protection. I use my caster to do harassing damage and when i do down one use the bow for stealth downs on the ft that are picking up. And slam to damage them even more and then melee kill the lst one. Rushing in with the net gun is not a safe tactic and will get you killed. Just try a new approach
Also the trapper perk is for bear traps not nets btw

We tested trapper perk with net gun right after 1.10 and it does not seem to be affecting the time it takes for a FT to free them self from the net gun. The perk still adds 1s to bear trap free time.
