Just trying to plasma spam with city hunter won’t beat the best teams. Now, against good teams, ok teams. He’s very good. But even still, it will be a tightly contested match. Between frags blowing up in your face cause your laser shows your direct position and the hitscan rifles, you are by no means having a cake walk with this build.

And the top players WILL still shit on this badly

More or less. Due to the BONKERS ft dps. And field medic being absolutely broken, and the INSANE amount of sustain through heals on the map and brought by the ft, and the INSANE speed at which the missions get done. The predators damage is still not op. It’s entirely necessary to even have a chance at winning

They need to just remove specializations because they are inherently broken. Then you’d tone down predator range damage(not melee. You cannot afford to nerf melee at all). But at the current state of the game, doing 100+ damage in a plasma shot, sounds like hey wait. That’s way too much. When In reality. Congratulations. I click a button I’m back at full health. Oh you managed to hit me again? I click a button I’m back at full health. Oh you managed to hit me again? I click a button I’m back at full health. While my team was shooting at you I found an ammo crate and restocked twice. Now you manage to hit me again? Oh I’ll click a button I’m back to full health. Annnnd mission is done,

The predators damage is not broken because even with it being high, can’t deal with mission speeds, and ft sustain.

Its crazy people have said these missions were doomed from day 1.

Fixing objective design is the correct solution since that’s where the problem is born from. More hp and healing is ALWAYS a crap solution to a problem that doesn’t need to exist.
Constant healing in any fight that doesn’t resolve near-instantly results in no change or progress at all and the only strategy worth using involves burst damage.
This is true in every single pvp game from League to TF2.
also fuck healers.

There is no “damn I didn’t kill that guy, but he’s at 10% health and therefore 90% easier to down” nope he sprint hops over the rail with a syringe in hand, now we’re counting syringes.
Lets triple the hp pool.

Punishing offensive options the way parry does is also bs.
It’s like they just want people to caster and bow, as ft huddles behind cover to heal, and then caster, and then bow…
I wonder why theres no playerbase? Maybe we need more caster and bow before dying…

We have done numerous tests showing that parry is bad for the game. We invited a bunch of good predator players who swore the game would be too broken without parry, that parry is necessary or melee would be op. We played privates where we turned off parrying, Annnnd we rinsed them, or actually have very close fun matches. Parry is a crutch. You have more than enough dps to fend off a would be melee attacker. But when someone is alone, you should be able to melee ambush. With parry this is not an Option

You kill everyone quickly because you hop like 3 times to get to the FT and then engage in what is essentially an arena shooter and the missions are utterly worthless

theres no stealth, no getting away from the engagement, no strategy. no reasoning to missions even other than to invite AI to shoot at you unless you’re speedrunning

You won’t kill them so quickly though. If you’re downing everyone it’s them being stingy with there heals, no comprehending they have more than enough
