I will take trashy optional missions for the pred at this point or an alternative win condition.
Its dull and sterile and they’re overconcerned with making getting shot in the back of the head with an arrow from cloak feel fair.
Well ya but extending missions isn’t going to help that or adding in better stealth since that’ll just essentially decide who’ll have the drop on the other
You need both unless you want to overload the game mechanically similar to siege

Well the predator should probably…always have the drop on the FT? That’s kinda the point of the character. Again. This game gets the atmosphere of the franchise all wrong
When the game came out, I was hoping for an intense pvp game where you’re scared of the predator. And just escaping made you wanna reach through the tv and high five your bois. And killing it? Well killing it should have felt like you’re a god gamer. I was so excited for that. Then within the first DAY I realized that would not be the case.
The predator in this game is a far cry from an imposing threat
The point was stealth additions alone can’t make games last longer
This is substantially better than hopping over in thirty seconds and aimlessly magdumping eachother for two minutes until people disengage or die and nothing else.

What would make matches last longer is, remove specializations cause they are broken. So then you won’t have the insane Dps. Still high. Still punishing to players who are overextending. But not so high you Insta die. Then reduce the heals on the map. People will be forced to play conservatively. A game of cat and mouse instead of a dog fight

They have a lot of potential to add unique abilities to each class
Also that’s literally what jelous was saying the fine was against (at least to an extent)
And also you use both mechanical changes and DPS changes to help the game

Yeah class locks and weapon niches but let them use weapon pickups so those things have a purpose instead of just existing like 90% of things in this game
People play unsafe because

the amount of healing, reinforce, second wind etc these are all just bonus lives fundamentally

you spawn in with everything, and nothing to lose. doesnt make any difference whether you engage at 2 mins or 9 which is just utter garbage and the main issue at heart.

Playing zerker bow is the same as playing zerker caster
What we need is passives and abilities that mechanically changes the way you play
Class locks for ft
Zerk bow can’t overload. A class being dragged down because it cant run the most oppressive setups in the game does wonders for balance, makes weaknesses a lot more apparent if you’re not being carried by the weapon over the passives. Much easier to adjust in the long run.
Instead of whats shit on one class being abuseable by another, keeping you from buffing it.
Illfonic shot themselves in the foot as if they don’t realize why games have classes, then they add weird passive damage stats on DLCs, then want to put specializations on top of that.
