Predator matchmaking is SHIT in this game!

Indeed, this needs an URGENT fix ASAP. The waiting it’s really sucks, but wait to have a little chance to get into a full lobby it’s a pain in everyone’s asses. I mean, if you wait like 10 mins, but at least got a properly match, would be “”“ok”"". But the estimated time is also messed up, you can’t trust on that.
Not only the endless waiting, but once you get connected to a match, 90% of chance that will have 1-2 players and you.
I think this is more a region problem. I live in South America and as far as I noticed, those waitings doesn’t take too much time for everyone equally. I saw a few streamers that got into full matches everytime waiting for like 3-4 mins.

Guys, I’ve been doing some things here to counter this bad matchmaking.
It’s working for me (not all the times) but I don’t know about you.
when the matchmaking time goes beyond 5 min I cancel and start again (but i do it fast)
when it happens twice I close the game and restart.
I use to do a quick cancel and quick match sometimes (very fast)
By doing these things yesterday I managed to enter full player matches, in about 2 and a half seconds several times (even when matchmaking estimated time was 5:40 ou 6:30)
Of course I did suffer a little too sometimes (like being in a full lobby but with that “WAINTING” issue again which leads to disconection or simply waiting 10 mins straigh and them I had to reset the game again)
But I believe, most of the time, this worked. ( FOR MEEE! OK)

Então, eu costumo deixar até passar uns 2 mins do tempo estimado e reseto, mas tá foda… eu acho que aqui pra gente tá ainda pior pra achar partidas completas. Sempre vejo stream dos caras achando partidas completas sempre, dificilmente acha uma com somente 3 FT’s.
Acredito eu que, além de ser um problema generalizado, pro nosso lado aqui tá ainda pior. :(

Eu costumo resetar o matchmaking com 5 min.
E reseto o game se começar a me colocar em partidas com poucos jogadores ou com aquele irritante “wainting” que apos a contagem gera um erro.
Acredito que vão consertar isso. Jogar com o predator é para os fortes mesmo.

By doing this you actually put yourself back in the end of the queue (instead of the bug doing it). Cancelling indeed seems to be the best bet tho.
the curious thing about this is, that the matchmaking starts with an estimated waiting time of 5 min, but they actually put me in a lobby after 2 min. Very strange. But, like I said. It works for me here. (it’s like there’s no queue after all cuz like you said, this should put myself in the end of the queue)

Sim sim, tbm creio que vão consertar, pois com ctz eles tem feedback e não é algo só com nós aqui, é geral. Fiquei bem esperançoso que fosse no 1.07, mas não rolou, kkk.
Mal vejo a hora de esse jogo estar rodando como deveria, curto demais o Predador. Assisti o primeiro nem sei qtas vezes na Sessão da Tarde. Se fosse outra franquia, eu já teria deixado de lado, provavelmente. Mas esse ET é brabo demais e concordo com vc, o gameplay com ele é bem mais difícil que como FT, qro mto dominar o máximo possível do bow, pois não curto mto melee pra ele, não combina.
Vou tentar suas dicas pra ver se dá uma melhorada. :D

Eu tenho usado muito a bow ultimamente, tenho conseguido uns headshots tambem.
É uma das armas mais valiosas desse jogo. É só dar o headshot e ir coletar a cabecinha kkk.
Eu tenho tres loudouts ja. Pra atacar de perto e longe.
Esse jogo é espetacular. Logo eles consertam ele. Ja fizeream muito com ultimo patch

De fato, o bow é excepcional. Ainda mais depois do 1.07. Vai ficar ainda melhor qdo arrumarem o perk de distância.
Eu tô tendo bastante dificuldade ainda pra me adaptar com ele, pois os personagens andam mto rápido, acho difícil acertar… de FT eu jogo no teclado e mouse, mas de Predador, tô jogando no controle. Tô pensando em tentar me adaptar no teclado e mouse tbm, pra ver se melhora minha mira. Mas é maravilhoso qdo vc acerta a flecha e só vê o cara pulando e olhando pra tudo que é lado, kkkkkkk.
O jogo tem mto potencial e a galera tá sendo paciente. Acredito que eles vão saber valorizar isso, pois se demonstraram bem interessados em consertar o mais breve possível. Fiquei de cara qdo fizeram um update 2 dias depois do lançamento, achei bem bacana. Ainda mais no atual momento em que estamos.
Tô na torcida e expectativa por esse jogo. :)

Yea… no way around it really. 1 predator for every 4 fireteam. Unless 4x as many people want to play fireteam and not predator, nothing they can do besides add bots

Oops, me equivoquei. Tô com a cabeça no próximo patch já, kkkk. Me referi ao 1.06, que aumentou o tempo que vc pode segurar o tiro carregado do bow, ajudou DEMAIS.

Sim, antes era impossivel de usar essa arma. O plasma caster tambem melhorou pois deixaram o tiro fraco mais rapido.

E também a questão das folhas, deu uma melhorada tbm. Eu nem usava mais ele por causa desse bug, do tiro estourar nas folhas. Ainda acontece, mas menos que antes… tomara que fique 100%.
Do tiro fraco eu não sabia que tava mais rápido, pois eu sempre uso o carregado antes de trocar de posição. O dano do tiro fraco tá compensando usar?
