Predator Melee Needs a Cooldown
Pred can run and jump endlessly from tree to tree but swinging that stick he’s been carrying is just too much for him.
How long does it take you to reload? Lol

You say that now, just wait until you’ve been parried as the predator and knifed to death in 4 seconds lol

Hmmm…your right. Instead our guns should moan when we reload and the intensity based on how little ammo was left in the clip. Thst way the predator can find you if your hiding.

It’s fine where it is. If you’re not parrying, than your timing is off.
My FT has still been able to 1v1 pred with just knives and parries, ive also as pred been parried successfully on my first swing almost 80% of the time.
Like others have already mentioned, the Predator have a Stamina bar which Melee attacks drain.
So if a Predator leaps and/or sprints into combat their Stamina bar will already have depleted some.
There are many times I’ve gotten into Melee as a Predator and ran out of Stamina not being able to attack or even leap/sprint out of combat. Meaning I will get mowed down by the other FT members.
A Predator can’t mindlessly get into Melee and expect a clean win. They have to think about the Stamina while doing so. As running out of it will most likely mean death to them.

I almost wish Illfonic just ignore all balancing feedback for the first couple to a few weeks from launch. Not particularly at this OP but seems like a lot of people haven’t even played both sides and just complain based on anecdotal evidence.

I’d give you a heart but just reached my maximum lol. I was kinda suprised thst a balance change came out so fast.
Imagine if after one hit to a FT member you just stop cause of the cool down and then they look at you like some kinda sped and blast you away 😂 if they did this ft would be back to being OP.

It doesn’t activate for me when i hit the button when it says parry. It activates maybe once in a few games.
How would my timing be off when im hitting the button when the game itself is telling me to??
You basically just have to know the timing and hit it just before they swing. Don’t wait for the prompt

Even pressing it randomly should usually get you one or two parries. I actually really bad at it and I still manage to get at least 1 or 2 when I get attacked.
I played a match earlier and I only had enough stamina to down one team member and escape.
Mind sharing video from a match of you spamming parry and escaping a Predator?
