Predator motion detectors (upgrades)

Motion detector modifiers would be great since they can be destroyed by the fire team. But only able to equip one of the modifiers I don’t mean equipped all of them at once.

•Once thrown and attached to wherever they land on they cloak/invisible.

•Increase detection range.

•Once fireteam leaves the motion detectors range it continues to spot them for 9 seconds.

•Once the motion detector is destroyed by a fire team member it does explosive damage (same range and damage as the giant red barres).

I would also like to say instead of leveling up to be able to unlock all these, players have to use the in-game currency to unlock these. Say around 15k to 25k.

Gear upgrades in the form of perks honestly would be great. Hell, for the weapons in general would be nice!

Specialisations in the form or Archer, Beast and Quickrunner or Defender would be awesome as well.

(PS: those are not actually names I would want to get. Though some would make sense.)

With the current balance , would pred specialisations even really matter? He is countered almost on every aspect

I mean the little armor buff did do good against bullet-based weapons (not plasma-based though). And Fireteam got specializations, why not Pred too?
And a bit more health or armor against bullet- and plasma-based weapon’s could be of help too.
Maybe even a rework on the damage of some FT weapons could make a difference.

No , I get what you are saying and I agree , I’m just not so sure how it would actually work . Even if pred has specialisations? Fireteam have anti-cloak gadgets , stackable damage buffs, field medics , spotting specials? The scales are so unbalanced I cant see what they coukd give pred to make up much of that ground? Unless they change the balance , a scout duelist can second wind with one clip of a pistol . It feels like the balance is done on a 1v1 basis, when in reality the fireteam is timed by four.

Maybe some of the Specializations for FT needs reworking too.

Don’t think red barrel damage is fair. Maybe shrapnel damage could cause bleed like from a samurai sword slash. Just the bleed though, not the initial hit damage.

I just want everyone to know motion detectors are amazing in Clash and track the enemy predator forever just because he sprinted past it.
