I’m level 77 and I can definitely say the berserker with the combistick is basically the only that will help against a coordinated team, besides that predator is pretty much fucked, I don’t think he’s underpowered as people make it to be but the hunter and scout definitely need a slight buff

I think one of the problems might be players feel they need to rush, because they kinda do. The Pred is basically fighting the clock, not unlike Jason in their Friday the 13th game. You don’t really feel like u have time to hunt and stalk the fire team cuz most players can blow through objectives extremely quickly.

I actually had a partied up fireteam kill me near the chopper and they just stood around shooting bad guys laughing like a bunch of hyenas and allowed the chopper to leave. I took three of their skulls so I guess that was their payback.
it’s never too early to say if something needs a nerf or a buff, I’m not the only one saying this lol the hunter and scout class for the predator needs a buff ASAP. Like everyone just be real for a second lol, the only way to be a successful predator is unlocking the Berserker and combistick… that is lame that you have to do that in order to win
No, it absolutely is. More data needs to be collected before nerfs or buffs are put in place. Always. 95% of players thing whatever Gun or weapon killed them should be nerfed. Which is why most devs don’t listen to the howlings or message boards, they collect backend data which tells a more accurate story.

I’m doing pretty good with the predator’s plasma caster it’s really good if you use dithered Lens with it. Not saying the game is good how it is. It still needs work. There is a lot of bugs that are pretty annoying were the predators stamina doesn’t recharge like half the damn game. But all in all he is so weak and really could use more health.

Well speaking from the trial that’s not what their data showed. They saw a 50/50 split in win %. Now personally, Iv been getting my ass kicked by the fire team all day, and the last 4 or so matches I’ve played haven’t even been close. But I haven’t unlocked everything and maybe Iv just been matched up with some aces IDK. I’m not saying things won’t need to change, but outside of small tweaks here and there I think more time needs to be spent with the game.

One thing I will admit is annoying is being chased down by the f’ing fire team while in second wind only for them to be able to catch up to me and off my ass.

I love the “Guard the Body” thing after you kill the Predator, but they should figure out a way to let the Predator player leave if they choose to.

yeah i kind of agree, you should be able to leave the match after you’re dead. i don’t know about you, but it’s not super fun to watch xX_n00bslayer_Xx teabag you repeatedly while shooting at AI. I understand the the argument of just being patient but it’s just not really fun to sit around and do nothing whilst also sometimes getting humiliated

It’s the same on fireteam, you are forced to stay there even after they get you back in. If you are dead and unable to come back, you should be booted from the match with all the xp you gained.

Do you mean after the reinforcement mission? If you haven’t come across it, dead fire team members can respawn from reinforcement missions that pop up. I’m not sure what triggers those missions.

No, when the fireteam kill the predator. You are stuck in the match until they claim your body or the bomb goes off.
Doubt it’s ever gonna change, it’s still like this in Friday the 13th to this day. You can die in the first 2 minutes as a counselor and be forced to spectate for 15-20 minutes.

My tune has actually changed, I primarily play hunter and I noticed a pattern: some fireteams you can tell are friends partied up and you can tell which ones aren’t, the ones that aren’t you can at times pick off some have more fight than others but fireteams that are close knit are significantly more difficult and that’s a fact. Think everyone should shaddap bout nerfing play and experience the game fully. Ya can’t get frustrated every time you lose because you will, just gotta enjoy it and try to have fun with it learn new strategies and chill.
